However, to undertake research in the UAE, I was required, in addition, to complete a

After completing this, I now undertake an Annual Health & Lifestyle Survey of Corporate Employees in Ras al Khaimah covering approx 20,000 employees each year. b) Training Programs Conducted: I conduct year round classes for university students in India as well as in the UAE. This totals over 100 class/ hours. In addition, my fellow faculty & I conduct approx 200 hours of Health workshops for corporate employees in a normal year. Each class/ workshop is for one hour and has 25 participants. Over 5000 participants are covered in these workshops annually. 4 a) Significant Contribution to Improve Health Care: One of my contributions that has made significant & measurable improvement to over a million clients (both corporates & individuals) is my Computerized Health Scan that integrates medical data with lifestyle activities & releases an Individual & Personal Lifestyle Correction Prescription. Added to this is Health Counseling, Health Education & year round Health Activities. This puts the client onto a path of Health Improvement & Disease Management. b) Health Improvement in Clients in the Last 3 Years: The Health Scan was created by me in 1994, and has received a world patent. Since them it has been used in Apollo Hospitals for over a million clients. More recently, since 2015, it is used in RAK Hospital (Ras al Khaimah), covering over 10,000 plus individual clients from 10 corporates annually. RAK Ceramics

Over the last three years, we have increased our client participation by 50% and this is captured in the annexure. Point 6: Innovative Contributions Throughout my career, I wrote hundreds of articles, for public reading, authored several books, created software systems and pioneered academic programs. These are mentioned below. When I came to UAE, in 2014, I found it necessary to reinvent these copyrighted products for local and online usage. These are highlighted here as follows: a) The Computerized Health Scan is a software product created by me & a team of 60 health and medical professionals. It evaluates medical data (BP, Sugar, Cholesterol, Lipids, etc) and co relates it with lifestyle factors (obesity, stress, family history, sedentary life, smoking and alcohol, etc) & releases a personal and individual lifestyle correction prescription for clients. It also correlates the group statistical data and advises communities, corporates and countries on lifestyle modification factors required for improved health. 10 c) Global Conferences Attended/Chaired: Details on Global Conferences already covered in Point 3 Point 8: Corporate Social Responsibility From , I was a National and Asian Champion in athletics. After retiring from active competition, I studied to become a Sport Administrator and was a part of the organizing committee in the 1982 Asian Games and later in the 2010 Commonwealth Games. When I came to the UAE (Ras Al Khaimah) in 2013/14, I resolved to

11 continue my Sports Activities for the benefit of the Social Community of School Children and Corporate Workers. To allow a large participation, we decided to conduct team games such as Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball etc. The majority of School and Corporates send teams to all our Annual Sports Tournaments. CSR & Sports Point 9: Customer Experience Previous chapters contain details of costumer health improvement (chapter 4) customers numbers improvement (Point 5). In this point, I will cover customer satisfaction and appreciation in the form of testimonials, integrating health into corporate objectives and involving employees in Annual Health Engagement Activities. a) Customer Satisfaction: We have consistently received high praise from our customers and the best proof of this lies in customer retention. We have retained RAK Ceramics (6000 employees) as our client since 2013 and similarly, Stevin Rock (3000 employees since 2015). For want of space, we are unable to attach the numerous letters of customer satisfaction. b) Integrating Health into Corporate Objectives: Besides screening, counseling and supporting employees to manage their health. We also encourage management, to provide health facilities to their employees. Over the years, we have been able to influence our clients into integrating the following facilities (Health Insurance, Health Education, Healthy Canteens, Sports Facilities, etc.) into their daily/ annual activity. c) Employees Engagement: For me, health care is not an isolated event of screening, or counseling or managing Isolated Medical Ailment. For me, health is a way of life, an annual day to day activity. The annexure contain samples of our client's year long engagement in health.

12 Point 10: Teamwork & Communication My organization is fully automated and comprises of 20 Multidiscipline Health professionals. Besides other forms of communication including , etc; we meet physically once every week, for planning and coordination. a) Collaboration with other departments: In order to optimize manpower resources, I collaborate with several departments in the Hospital. Nursing supports us in screening; Internal Medicine supports us in Talks and workshops; we support cardiology in Cardiac Care; we support marketing in Community outreach and so on. b) Recognition in service excellence: Our service have been internally appreciated and externally recognized as indicated in the annexure attachment.
