1 We from Shakyamuni Buddha Community Health Care Centre thank all our supporters and sponsors and express our heartfelt gratitude for the kind and generous support you have extended towards the Clinic and its work through the year of You are not just the donors of the clinic but as we like to look at in its true sense, you are the 'Caregivers' of Shakyamuni Buddha Clinic and in turn caregivers of all the people of communities around Gaya and Bodhgaya who gets treated and benefited through the clinic. Began in 1991, your compassion and kindness in what made possible for the centre continue to provide its services throughout the year of Here is a glimpse of last one year for you. Shakyamuni Buddha Community Health Care Clinic (SBCHCC) continues to provide a wide range of medical and rehabilitative services and health educational activities into the year The centre currently operates six days a week with a full-time employed team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and other support staff. Along with these, there are visiting doctors. The services are provided through our homeopathic outpatient clinic. The centre has well equipped both allopathic and homeopathic pharmacies that distribute free medication to the patients. A new water filter has been installed for patients. We have facilitated donation of a commuting vehicle for a differently abled person.
2 Along with this our mobile clinic based out of five rural centres spread across in Gaya district offer similar kind of services. The mobile clinic team travels to far away locations from the SBCHCC centre to reach out to the rural population. Dr.I.H.Khan and Dr. Parmod Pathak at our mobile clinic centre. Due to our budgetary limitations this year we had to cut short some of our services such as limiting the dental doctor s visit to monthly twice instead of a weekly visit, and couldn t continue with our inpatient service for high risk patients and also couldn t continue with few other visiting doctors such as allopathy and paediatric doctor. In the process of adjusting with the limited budget this year we also have to let go few of our staff members. Our physiotherapists offer services at both our clinic and mobile clinic centres. 3 In 2017 till month of November we have offered free medical treatment to 49,133 benefactors, which included: - Free Consultations with Homeopathic doctors - Free allopathic and homeopathic medication - Physiotherapy and rehabilitation - Nutritional and Medical support to people living with HIV - Health Education - Mobile clinic at five different rural centres - Free Laboratory services at local private diagnostic centre. Monthly twice: - Fully equipped dental clinic with a dental doctor - Heath education to adolescent girls An ENT doctor volunteering at the clinic
4 Adolescent girls education program Health education at our centre and in the villages.
5 Staff: Currently, our clinic staff consists: Four Homeopathic doctors Two Nurses Two Physiotherapists Three pharmacists - two in homeopathic pharmacy and one in Allopathic One health educator Two receptionists Two housekeeping staff One driver We all at Shakyamuni Buddha Clinic once again thank each and every caregiver who has whole heartedly extended there kindness and generosity and helped the clinic to accomplish another year of medical and health services to the marginalised communities of Gaya and Bodhgaya.
