16 What can I do? 1. Be willing to speak up for safety, whether to a co-worker or the company. So often we don t take the risk because we are afraid of how our comments will be perceived. 2. Take care of each other put family and co-workers first, especially when it comes to working safely. 3. Be a leader when it comes to working safely. We do this by demonstrating our commitment to safety through every action we take every day! 4. Take the I out of safety conversations. It s not about you or me. It s about the safety of our co-workers. No job is so important that it can t be done safely!
