3 Introduction The Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Section of the San Francisco Department of Public Health provides health & safety training to City and County employees working in departments that do not have Health & Safety Staff. The courses provided are an excellent source of information for supervisors and employees interested in improving health and safety in their workspace. Classes that do not require a written program are free and available on a first-come, firstserve basis to departments that do not have professional health and safety personnel assigned. City departments can participate in the OSH Training Program in three ways: 1.
