The third was our research study on temperature measurement. A comparison of Temporal Artery and Oral Electronic with Core Temperature in Normothermic Post-Operative Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Patients. The fourth and fifth were focused on diabetes initiatives. Presented three oral presentations at the York Hospital Quality Forum. Two focused on pain management issues. Development of pain management protocols for the orthopedic population and the development of a Pain Management Liaison program for education of the nursing staff. And the third focused on Fall Prevention. Member of the Fall Task Force. Instituted a fall rounding program that decreased falls house wide. Member of the EBP/Research Committee. Participated to several EBP projects and presented poster and oral presentations at the local, regional, and national level.
