Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certified Nurse-Midwife, American Midwifery Certification Board Grants The March of Dimes Foundation, in collaboration with REACH CNY, awarded a grant of $80,047 to support the development and implementation of an innovative model of prenatal care for women at the SUNY Upstate Regional Perinatal Center whose pregnancies are complicated by diabetes. The model, Centering Pregnancy, is consistent with the Institute of Medicine s goals for improvement in the quality of care. The grant will provide professional education, the costs associated with project implementation, and guidance from the Centering Healthcare Institute. The grant was received on 4 January 2013, and the target implementation date was June The program began enrolling patients in August Teaching Activities 2014 (June) New York State Perinatal Association.
