1 Connect: Women Clean-up Team 5 times per year 30 minutes after each Connect: Women event. Help clean up after Connect: Women events. No formal qualifications Helps Volunteers in this role are responsible for the following: o Clear tables and bring materials to be cleaned to room 105. o Rinse water pitchers, empty coffee decanters, return dishes to owners. o Gather soiled tablecloths and possibly take them home to wash.

2 Connect: Women Food Team 5 times per year 1 hour at each Connect: Women event. 18 Help with various aspects of the meal at Connect: Women events. No formal qualifications Helps Hospitality Food prep experience or skills would be helpful. Volunteers in this role would help set-up food table and supervise food and dessert tables during Women's events.

3 Connect: Women Games Team 5 times per year 30 minutes at each Connect: Women event. Prep time before the event may vary. Plan games appropriate for a large group. Provide or gather materials. Explain and facilitate game at the event. Willingness to attend the Connect: Women s events and speak in front of a large group of women Leadership This volunteer is responsible for the following: o Planning games appropriate for a large group o Providing or gathering materials o Explaining and facilitating game at the event. Ideally, we will have two volunteers working together in this role.

4 Connect: Women Greeters 5 times per year 30 minutes prior to each Connect: Women event. Greet women at each Connect: Women event. No formal qualifications Helps Hospitality Volunteers in this role are responsible for the following: o Standing by the doors and greeting women as they arrive at the event. o Helping them find a table. It is helpful if a greeter has a cheerful spirit.

5 Connect: Women Hostess 5 times per year 2 hours at each Connect: Women event. Co-Host a table along with one more lady at each Connect: Women event. No formal qualifications Helps Hospitality Volunteers in this role are responsible for the following: o Welcome ladies to sit at your table. o Pour and refill their water. o Distribute nametags and flyers to ladies at your table. o Lead conversations and help new ladies acclimate to the event.

6 Connect: Women Prayer Team 5 times per year 30 minutes at each Connect: Women event. 18 Meet a few minutes before Connect:Women events to pray for the evening. Pray with women at the event. No formal qualifications Prophecy Word of Wisdom or Knowledge Distinguishing between spirits Intercessory gifts

7 Connect: Women Setup Team 5 times per year One hour prior to each Connect: Women event. Help with setup before each Connect: Women event. No formal qualifications Helps Hospitality Volunteers in this role are responsible for the following: o Arrive an hour early to Connect: Women events. o Gather materials from closets, spread tablecloths, assemble centerpieces, coffee set up. o Possibly design centerpieces. This would be a great role for someone who enjoys decorating and creating inviting spaces for people to gather.

8 Women s Council Member Multi-year commitment Monthly and all Women s Events 5+ hours per month (3 hours at monthly meeting, 3 hours a month at events, 2 hours a month extra planning time) 18 Council members create dynamic and meaningful experiences for women to grow in their personal relationships with Christ, to engage meaningfully with each other and to provide opportunities to share the joy of life in Christ with others. Volunteer Application (including references for reference checks) Must be a covenantor, regularly attending Grace for a minimum of two years Women s Council Application Teaching Leadership Word of Wisdom or Knowledge Distinguishing between spirits Helps Administration Pastor Evangelist Women s Council Members meet the first Monday night of each month to plan Bible studies, Women's Connections dinners and the annual retreat. Council members are expected to attend and execute these events as well. Event planning, strong work ethic and commitment would all be important characteristics of a potential Women s Council Member. Council members must attend the annual 3 day retreat, a summer 2 day planning retreat, 5 Women's dinners throughout the year and monthly planning meetings. Date Last Updated: November 28, 2018

9 Women s Thursday Morning Children s Teacher Weekly 3 hours per week (2 hours on Thursday morning; 1 hour/week prep) 18 Provide Biblical lessons for children in Thursday morning childcare. Requirements per GCC Child and Youth Protection Policy: o Must have attended Grace Community Church for at least six months. o Volunteer Application (including references for reference check) o Background Check o Interview Required Teaching Leadership Word of Wisdom or Knowledge Distinguishing between spirits Pastor This volunteer is responsible for the following: o Planning and preparing weekly lessons o Teaching children (toddlers through homeschool 5 th grade) o Communicating with ministry leader about needed materials

10 Women s Thursday Morning Discipleship Group Leader Weekly 5-7 hours per week (2 hours at discipleship group and 3-5 hours study time) 18 Discipleship group leaders attend Thursday Morning Bible Study each week. They co-lead a group of 6-8 women in a small group setting in conjunction with the larger Bible Study group. Must have attended Women s Wednesday Evening or Thursday Morning Discipleship for at least one year Teaching Word of Wisdom or Knowledge Distinguishing between spirits Pastor This volunteer is expected to do the following: o Study on your own to complete the lessons each week o Facilitate small group discussion o Pray for the ladies in the group

11 Women s Thursday Morning DVD Group Coordinator Multi-Year Weekly 4 hours per week (2 at Bible Study and 2 for prep and follow-up) Point person for Thursday Morning DVD Bible Study large group meeting. Must have attended Thursday Morning or Wednesday Evening Discipleship for at least a year. Teaching Leadership Administration Pastor This volunteer is responsible for the following: o Train and provide materials to the discipleship small group leaders o Gather participants and bless the food on Thursday mornings o Help coordinate Thursday morning hospitality team o Make announcements/realm posts to participants o Possibly teach/facilitate lessons

12 Women s Thursday Morning Hospitality Weekly 1 hour per week Provide hospitality for the breakfast portion of Thursday morning discipleship. Willingness to attend Thursday morning discipleship and serve others Helps This volunteer team is responsible for the following: o Filling water pitchers and coffee pots o Setting table with tablecloth and utensils o Clean up hospitality table after event o Notify ministry leader when supplies are low

13 Women s Thursday Morning Inductive Group Coordinator Multi-Year Weekly 4 hours per week (2 at Bible Study and 2 for prep and follow-up) Point person for Thursday Morning Inductive Bible Study large group meeting Must have attended Thursday Morning or Wednesday Evening Discipleship for at least a year. Teaching Leadership Administration Pastor This volunteer is responsible for the following: o Train and provide materials to the discipleship small group leaders o Gather participants and bless the food on Thursday mornings o Help coordinate Thursday Morning Hospitality team. o Make announcements/realm posts to participants o Attend Thursday Morning discipleship o Possibly teach/facilitate lessons

14 Women Video Team Multi-year commitment Varies by project 16 Create videos for retreat, connection events, promotion, Bible Studies, social media Creative mind and/or experience with filming, video editing and production Leadership Administration Exhortation May include planning, filming and editing video for various needs. Ideally, we will have four volunteers working together on this team.
