4 Page 3 DAF #33 - Modern Fishing for Flamand Bay PORT AU PRINCE/CHAMPS DE MAR --This Project will provide supplies and equipment to SIONFONDS to assist the fishermen in Granduc, Cavaillon, Flamand Bay --Modern Fishing will be taught to the Fishermen and they will be provided with the equipment they need. -- Total cost is $100,000 DAF #46 - Institut Des hautes Etudes Commerciales et Economiques PORT AU PRINCE -- Repair the computer lab of the University level school of Economy and Finance -- The Rotaract Club of St. Maarten wishes to assist with this project -- Total cost is $50,000 DAF #47 - L ecole du Sacre Coeur PORT AU PRINCE -- Rebuilding the elementary school with 16 classrooms -- Total cost is $464,233 DAF #48 - Ecole Notre Dame des Petits PORT AU PRINCE/CARREFOUR -- Rebuild the school for 1200 students -- Total cost is $250,000
5 Page 4 DAF #55 Increase the Capacity of Dairy Farmers PETIONVILLE --This project will increase the capacity within four dairies and assist 1500 Farmers. --It will provide cold storage, refrigeration, equipment and monitoring --It will be organized by the Agogo Network and operated by Veterimed, a local NGO Total Cost is $40,000 DAF #61 Plant and grow Castor Oil Seeds and Banana PETIONVILLE/CHINCHERON, ARCAHAIE --They will mobilize 25 plots of land for farming --They will allow the farmers to lease the land and provide them with technical assistance --It will be organized by the Cooperative Lumiere de Chinchiron (COLUC) --It will assist 480 families Total Cost is $33,184 DAF #63 Repairing the Canal at Village Isaiah Jeanty PETIONVILLE, CHANCERELLES --The Canal needs to be flushed and repaired in order to get back to providing good sanitation --Currently the water is being contaminated and will cause malaria, dengue fever, etc. --It will be coordinated by the Unity to Combat Hunger --The Urban Service Engineering Department has already surveyed the area to determine what needs to be done. Total Cost is $40,000 DAF #66 Improve Goat Farming in Mormont Community HINCHE --This project will buy goats, train the farmers, provide cross breeding, food, medical care and expertise
6 Page 5 --They will distribute 60 indigeneous goats and mix the breeds --The goats will provide income to some 1500 people Total cost is $24,935 DAF #68 Assist with Peanut Farming MIREBALAIS --This project will assist with the training for planting, storing, selling and saving as related to Peanut Farming Farmers will be involved --Scocenter will fund $17,620 Total cost is $115,420 so they still need $95,447 DAF #75 Uniq School of Health Sciences DELMAS AIRPORT --This project is to provide a library and consultation room for the Doctors in training who work in the community helping the population within the clinic --They provide the primary care for that community Total cost is $80,000 map of Haiti with projects noted on next page
