The purpose of the CCQ is to bring the readers insight as to what is going on in and around Robstown and Western Nueces County. The CCQ will give you updates of what is going on in the world of business as it pertains to our community, as well as what community events are going on. The CCQ will also provide information on what if going on in government on a local, county, and state level. The first 25 stores are in the final stages and will be ready for the Grand opening. Over the next several months more stores will open in what is being called a rolling grand opening. The Grand Opening of the outlets will be a weekend long event, starting with the Ribbon Cutting on March 2, Come out and enjoy a weekend long celebration with great deals. For those of you who can t wait that long, there will be a VIP/Fundraiser event on March 1 st. 5 Commissioners Corner As your new County Commissioner, I have been working these last 6 weeks with our local leadership in Robstown and western Nueces County to make sure our goals work together. Some of the projects I am working on this year is to improve our local roads, support and create new local jobs and work in partnerships to save taxes dollars. Our area has several exciting opportunities which includes finally opening the new Outlet Mall.
