10 Thornton Tomasetti - Structural Engineers ACE MENTOR PROGRAM We did the structural design for the six-million-square-foot Las Vegas CityCenter Block A. Other projects exceeding one million square feet? We ve done more than 150 of them. Less than a week after Hurricane Ike hit the Gulf Coast, a team of 25 of our people from nine offices converged on Houston to help our clients assess damage, develop remediation plans and stabilize damaged structures. The design require ments for San Francisco s new Transbay Transit Center include beauty, functionality, resilience and sustainability all topped by a five -acre publicpark. We ve long been a premier go-to firm for the most challenging structural tasks. Courtesy of the Transbay Joint Powers Authority Revit modeling helped us optimize the innovative cone and trellis structure of Masdar Headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The 3D visualization aided coordination with the owner s representatives, and web meetings limited the need for extensive travel. After designing structures for many of the world s tallest buildings Kingdom Tower, Ping An Financial Center, Shanghai Tower, Taipei 101 and the Petronas Towers we ve become known as the supertall design firm, even if this is only a portion of our work. With an award-to-open schedule of only 30 months, Nationals Park was built faster than any Major League ballpark. We met the ultra-fast-track schedule by collaborating intensively with the design-build project team and by using 3D building information modeling to speed design and material procurement.

Project Types: Multifamily Residential Commercial/Industrial Senior Living Parking Garages Building Information Modeling: CB is a pioneer in the world of BIM - adopted in 2007, this technology has helped CB save time and money on projects. University Park Student Housing - Boca Raton Concrete Structures Division: CB self performs concrete. We own our own tunnel forming system. What are tunnel forms? This forming system came from France when the government tasked industry to find a solution to build new housing quickly after WWII. Outinord was formed and is the sole manufacturer of tunnel forms. University of Florida CB is a proud supporter of the UF Rinker School of Construction Management, currently employing 18 Gator graduates including our CEO Chip Reid who graduated in 1975.

In consideration of the permission granted to me and to the Student for the Student to participate in the ACE Mentor Program, we, the Student and the Parent or Gaurdian, to the extent permitted by

19 ACE Summer Boot Camp Parent Consent Form law, do hereby (1) assume any and all risk and liability for losses or damages to property and for damages, injuries or death to the Student which may arise in connection with travel to or participation in activities, programs or other functions sponsored by ACE or its affiliates, and hereby, for the Student and for myself and our heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, do release and discharge the ACE Mentor Program of America, Inc., including the firms hosting the ACE Summer Boot Camp which includes Current Builders, Gresham Smith Architects, Project Caine and Thornton Tomasetti, and each of their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, predecessors, successors, representatives and assigns (collectively called ACE ), from any and all claims, actions, and liabilities arising from or relating to with travel to or participation in activities, programs or functions sponsored by ACE or its affiliates, (2) grant permission for video graphic, photographic or audio recording of the Student s participation in activities, programs or functions sponsored by ACE or its affiliates, and for the use of such recordings by or with the consent of ACE for promotional and educational purposes and (c) grant permission for ACE to track the educational and employment history and status of the Student following the Student s participation in the ACE program and to obtain student transcripts for that purpose from educational institutions attended by the student upon presentation of a copy of this document to such institutions. We have carefully read the foregoing consent and release form and know and understand the contents thereof.
