Elkem's 2-year trainee program for engineers emphasizes : professional development personal growth through challenging work assignments and projects, personal mentoring and an individual development plan. 13

14 A GREAT OPPORTUNITY A new program in France which has been in existence for 10 years in Elkem : 35 trainees have been in the program, ~50% are still in Elkem, in important positions A program to develop our future potentials: 2 years to be spent in 3 different locations, several mandatory courses and training sessions some social events to promote team-building 14

15 Our Trainee Program In Short 3 periods of 8 months each at Elkem s plants and units in the world Training: onboarding, on the job training, internal and external courses (communication, project management, HSE ) Individual development plan Local mentor and support by trainee coordinator Possible tasks : Activities related to our processes The tasks will focus on Operational situations Research projects Improvement depends on the needs of the receiving Elkem unit 15

17 WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR Engineering degree or Master of Science degree in technical skills with good academic results. Normally hired during the last year of study for start-up after graduation Key competencies: English spoken Able to take initiative and be reponsible as well as to network, be a consistent positive performer and demonstrate interpersonal skills and teamwork Ability and willingness to support Elkem s values Flexibility regarding challenges and geographical mobility during the trainee period Always prepared and actively participating in teamwork and common activities Continous focus on personal development plan 17
