9 MACCI Cuts the Ribbon for Two New Businesses The Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry, along with City officials, MACCI Board members and Ambassadors, have been busy promoting growth in our community with two recent ribbon cuttings. MACCI was pleased to be a part of ceremonies for Central City Vapors and Seehafer Farm Creamery. Congratulations! Located on the south side of Marshfield, Patti and Jubel Arnold opened Central City Vapors with one goal in mind; bring smoke-free technology to those who want to quit smoking. To achieve this goal, Central City Vapors offers safe alternatives to regular cigarettes in the form of e-cigarettes and vaporizers. Use of these vaporizers or vaping eliminates thousands of harmful chemicals and carcinogenic compounds that are found in tobacco cigarettes. In addition to helping Marshfield smokers beat addiction to traditional cigarettes, Central City Vapors is also giving back to our service men and women with the Vape a Vet program. One hundred percent of the wholesale profits from Bottle Ready to Vape liquids (BRV) are donated to this program. These monies provide current military and veterans with starter kits and e-liquids in order to help them break the harmful cycle of smoking. Central City Vapors is located at 817A South Central Avenue in Marshfield. Pictured cutting the ribbon are: Dave Meissner, MACCI President; Scott Larson, MACCI Executive Director; Angie Eloranta, Main Street Marshfield Executive Director; Steve Barg, City Administrator; Patti and Jubel Arnold, owners. It s new, it s moo, and a dream come true! Celebrating a grand opening on July 11th, Ken and Karen Seehafer introduced local milk lovers to the new Seehafer Farm Creamery. You only need to travel a short distance north of Marshfield to enjoy the country atmosphere and fresh, quality, BGH-free milk. Seehafer Farm Creamery has been a dream finally realized for Ken Seehafer, who had the idea to bottle milk from the farm ever since his high school days. The new creamery, which took a year to complete, has a range of dairy products to offer, like on-site processed milk (recognized by the State of Wisconsin for quality), cheeses, hamburger, and high-quality scooped ice cream. Seehafer Farm Creamery, located at M241 Hwy 97, also offers a variety of other locallysourced products for sale and is open Monday-Saturday from 9 am 7 pm. Distinguished guests speaking at the ribbon cutting were; David Meissner, MACCI President; Carolyn Opitz, Town of McMillan Chairperson; and Sheriff Scott Parks who was representing Marathon County. Cutting the ribbon is the Ken & Karen Seehafer family. MARSHFIELD AREA 5 CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY 9
