3 OBJECTIVES Much like the previous conferences, the 11 th International Scientific and Professional Conference CRISIS MANAGEMENT DAYS 2018 aims to gather experts from the field of security, crisis and crisis management and motivate them to display the results of their work, indicate existing and potential problems, exchange experience and opinions among each other and jointly reach conclusions about future actions. TOPICS The conference topics encompass all scientific fields that deal with various aspects of crises in all areas of science. The International Conference CMD Programme is structured in six separate topic areas: 1. Conference dinner Thursday, May 24, 2018 Morning - thematic expert presentations and discussions, poster session. Technical and business presentations, exhibition. Closing of the Conference. Lunch APPLICATION TO PARTICIPATE Participants with no presentation can register for the conference using an online form on the conference website: SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS AND COMPLETED PAPERS Abstracts are submitted electronically by completing a form available at the conference website: The number of papers per author is limited to (2) papers. The deadline for submission of abstracts is March 15, Authors will receive notice whether their abstract has been accepted by April 1, The accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts, which will be given to each participant upon registration. The deadline for submission of completed papers is May 1, Papers will be preliminary published on the conference website and made available to all registered conference participants. Subsequent to the peer review and conference presentation, the papers will be published in the electronic Conference Proceedings. A prerequisite for a paper to be published in the Conference Proceedings is to present it either as an oral presentation or as a poster presentation. Selected scientific papers will be published in the scientific journal ADRS-Annals of Disaster Risk Management (edited by the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica) with international peer review in the printed form. Guidelines for authors who would like to publish their papers in the Conference Proceedings and the scientific journal ADRS Annals of Disaster Risk Management can be found on the conference website

5 NOTICE FOR CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS REGISTRATION FEE Registration fee for the conference participants paid before April 15, 2018 amounts to 80, while after this deadline it will amount to 100. The accompanying persons pay a registration fee in the amount of 45. Students of the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica are exempt from paying the registration fee. Other students pay a registration fee of 14. Registration fee includes the participation at the conference, Book of Abstracts and other professional materials. ACCOMMODATION All participants of the conference will be accommodated (at discount prices) at the Hotel ISTRA with the depadance NEPTUN. PRICES PER PERSON The price of accommodation per person per day at the Hotel Istra with the Neptun Depadance in all types of accommodation amounts to 74 (including: Wednesday dinner, Thursday breakfast and lunch). The price of accommodation for students amounts to 27 per person, provided that two students are accommodated in a twin room. Arrival: Transfer to the island by the National Park boat in accordance with the sailing schedule at the hotel guests are exempt from paying the boat ticket. Stay in the rooms available after 15:00 on the day of arrival. Departure: Stay in the rooms available until 12:00 on the day of departure. HOTEL RESERVATIONS Conference participants book their accommodations individually and directly with the Hotel Istra with the Neptun Depadance via l.boneta@np-brijuni.hr and including the mandatory DKU 2018 access code.
