1 SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM XII INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CRYSTAL CHEMISTRY web site: SECOND CIRCULAR The scientific program will consist of invited lectures (30 min), oral presentations (15 min) and two poster sessions (Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively). All contributions will be in English. Scientific sessions: Morning Afternoon Monday September 23 Opening Ceremony Crystal Chemical Peculiarities I Phase Diagrams ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATIONS Tuesday September 24 Crystal Structures Databases and Crystallographic Software Wednesday September 25 Physical Properties Crystal Chemical Peculiarities II Closing Ceremony Oral and poster presentations will be selected on the basis of the submitted abstracts. Equipment for computer presentation will be provided by the organizers. 1 1 m 2 boards will be available for poster presentations. ABSTRACTS Participants who would like to make an oral or a poster presentation are invited to submit an abstract (1 page A4) on any aspect of crystal chemistry (crystal structures, phase diagrams, physical properties) of intermetallic and related compounds. Accepted contributions will be included in the book of abstracts, which will be distributed to the participants. The abstracts must be written in English. Please submit your abstract by to the IMC Conference Secretariat. The text should be prepared in A4 format with Times New Roman Font 12 point, using single spacing (margins: top 3.5 cm, bottom, left, right 2.5 cm), following the example shown below. 2 PROCEEDINGS Proceedings will be published in the journal Chemistry of Metals and Alloys ( An electronic version of the manuscript should be submitted by to the journal office subject: IMC-XII proceedings) before September 22, REGISTRATION Participants should register by returning by the registration and accommodation form before July 31, The registration desk will be open on Sunday, September 22 (10:00-18:00). It will remain open throughout the duration of the conference for information and general assistance. CONFERENCE FEES All participants must register and pay the conference fee: UAH 400 for regular participants and UAH 250 for accompanying persons from Ukraine, EUR 250 for regular participants and EUR 150 for accompanying persons living in other countries. Conference fees for regular participants include attendance to all scientific sessions, the book of abstracts and the get-together party, including the concert preceding it. Conference fees for accompanying persons cover the complete social program.
