The class includes a balance of instructional and hands-on exercises. The following subjects are covered: Key Figures in Electricity Voltage, Current and Resistance AC & DC Electricity Switches and Relays Normally Open Normally Closed Circuits Fail Safe/Fail Secure lock wiring Hands-on basic system wiring and operation Series versus Parallel Wiring Use of Multi-meters How to test Multi-meter Circuit Testing for Volts & Amps Electronic Components This course is designed for participants with previous basic electronic knowledge and use of a multimeter. Covered in this course are advanced access control and system wiring techniques, installation and product troubleshooting. In this class, you will learn how to write a master key system. You will learn 3 different types of systems and when to use them. You ll learn to write a system on paper and in software. And you ll learn the fast key generating secrets that successful Locksmiths have been using for years. After taking this class with HPC, Hudson Lock, and IDN you will walk away with the ability to write master key systems and generate more business.
