Megan Dempsey St. Louis University High School My years at Regis Jesuit High School Girls Division were my first experiences with Jesuit education, which inspired me to pursue further Jesuit formation at Gonzaga University, in Spokane, Washington, as a student of English literature and philosophy. This year I have joined the St. Louis University High School community, in St. Louis, Missouri, as a sophomore English teacher and am contributing to SLUH s tradition of Ignatian spirituality through work with campus ministry. I am an avid outdoorswoman, Tolkien enthusiast, and newborn Cardinals fan enjoying a tremendous year in St. Louis! Kate Essig Regis Jesuit High School Girls Division After eight years of all-girl education followed by four years at a Jesuit university, I cannot think of a better way to spend my first year out of school than teaching at Regis Jesuit High School Girl s Division (Denver, CO). As a student at Saint Louis University I majored in English with minors in theater and creative & professional writing, and I was involved in the Office of Admission, SLU101 Orientation, a student a capella group and SLU s Social Justice Magazine. I loved my college experience not only because of my involvement but also because of my exposure to Jesuit ideals and practices, and now I am spending a year teaching freshman English at Regis Jesuit High School.

Jon Feder I was profoundly impacted by Ignatian spirituality and the characteristics of Jesuit education during my time at, in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating in 2010, I studied philosophy and geography at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In college, I was involved in the Outdoor Adventures Program, intramural sports, and organizations such as Gotta Have HOPE and ONE. This year, I am ecstatic to be teaching at, in Denver, Colorado, where I also help with the soccer program. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to influence students in their formation towards The Profile of the Graduate at Graduation. James Fister Loyola Academy of St. Louis I have been a student of Jesuit education for the past eight years and have grown to love Ignatian spirituality and the values instilled in me by my teachers. I graduated from St. Louis University High School in 2010 and from Rockhurst University in Taking a year to work at Loyola Academy, in St. Louis, Missouri, is a fantastic way to give back to those who have given me so much and hopefully instilling similar values in the next generation of men and women for and with others. Now I am living, laughing, and learning with my wonderful ASC community members! Zach George Regis Jesuit High School Boys Division As a 2010 graduate from Cretin-Derham Hall High School in St. Paul, Minnesota, my first experience with the Jesuit community came during my time at Creighton University. After four years as a Bluejay, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Today, I am immersing myself in another Jesuit community - the Regis Jesuit High School Raiders of the Boys Division, in Denver, Colorado. I currently teach physical science, physics, and oral communications, while actively participating in campus ministry, coaching soccer, and helping develop our young gentlemen into adolescents who embody Ignatian principles. Shannon Hayes I have been involved in Catholic education since kindergarten and was first exposed to the Jesuit tradition through my attendance of Regis University in Denver, Colorado, where I studied history and peace & justice. At Regis University I became involved in student government and residence life, where I learned how to be a woman for and with others. It is for this reason that I decided to join ASC after college. I believe in the Jesuit mission and feel obligated to give back to my community through action, compassion, and the desire for the Magis. I am teaching at in Denver, Colorado, where I hope to be transformed by God s grace and aid in the development of the men and women of the Arrupe community.

Nic Herrmann Loyola Academy of St. Louis My first experience of the Jesuits dates back to childhood, when my parents took me and my siblings to the annual De Smet Jesuit High School Easter Egg Hunt. Perhaps because of this experience I went to De Smet Jesuit High School from 2006 to I continued on the road of Ignatian education at Loyola University Chicago, where I studied communication and finance. This year, I will be at Loyola Academy, in St. Louis, Missouri, passing along the tradition of Jesuit education and care for the whole student. ASC has graciously offered me a chance to teach valuable life lessons I have learned through the lens of Ignatian spirituality. I am thoroughly excited to see where it takes me. Sam Hurteau Regis Jesuit High School Boys Division My first interaction with the Jesuits began during my time at De Smet Jesuit High School and continued at Saint Louis University, where I studied business administration with concentrations in finance and marketing. This year, I am teaching personal finance to seniors and algebra I to freshmen at Regis Jesuit High School Boys Division, in Denver, Colorado. I enjoy getting to know our students more by assisting with campus ministry, student government, and intramural sports. I love living in the great city of Denver and inspiring my students not only to think more critically from a mathematical and financial context but also to develop themselves as Men for Others. Patrick Jennewein De Smet Jesuit High School I first heard the phrase Jesuit education in 2006 as I began my freshman year at De Smet Jesuit High School, in St. Louis, Missouri. During my four wonderful years I gained an appreciation for the humble ideals Jesuit education entails and felt drawn to attend Saint Louis University to continue such an education. This year, I am elated by the opportunity to return to De Smet Jesuit High School, where I am teaching freshman English and offering assistance wherever I am called. I am ecstatic to give back to the school that has influenced so much of who I am. It is a great blessing to be able to do so in such an incredible ASC community. GO SPARTANS! Andrew Kresyman De Smet Jesuit High School Hailing from the south side of St. Louis, I graduated from St. Louis University High School, in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2010 and headed down to T-Town to attend the University of Tulsa. There I studied chemical engineering and was involved in a number of organizations including Residence Life, University Ambassadors and Student Association. I am thrilled to be teaching chemistry at De Smet Jesuit High School, in St. Louis, Missouri. It is my hope to inspire future chemists to live the ideals imparted on us by St. Ignatius and to be competent and loving members in our society.

Mark Ladd I attended St. Rita of Cascia High School in Chicago, Illinois, graduating in From there I studied at Saint Louis University, where I majored in theology. This year I am teaching theology to freshmen and juniors and, in Kansas City, Missouri. I am coaching soccer and assisting campus ministry in all of their activities. I am looking forward to living in Kansas City and cannot wait to be immersed in the Rockhurst community. ASC is an opportunity of a lifetime with my fellow peers and mentors inspiring me to not take this year for granted. Andrew Meyer I have had the great pleasure of learning in the Jesuit tradition for the past 8 years as a 2010 graduate of St. Louis University High School and a 2014 graduate of Rockhurst University, in Kansas City, Missouri. I studied history, political science, and business at Rockhurst University. I currently have the honor of teaching modern world history to sophomores at, in Kansas City, Missouri, as well as helping coach freshman football. John Micich I graduated from St. Louis University High School in 2007 and ever since Jesuit education and formation has played a big role in the person I am today. I attended the University of Miami and graduated in 2011 with a degree in motion pictures and creative writing. After spending a few years in the workforce, I felt something was missing in my life. I joined ASC because I believe Jesuit education and Ignatian spirituality are awesome formative experiences in developing men and women for and with others, and I want to be a part of the same tradition that I was blessed with. I am teaching at in Denver, Colorado - helping pass on the same lessons and values that made me who I am. Christine Prissel My first experience with the Jesuits occurred during my undergraduate years at Creighton University, where I double majored in cultural anthropology and justice & society. I minored in theology. During two summers as a youth minister intern, I discovered my passion for journeying with students in their development of faith, as well as in being a teacher. Through discernment and prayer, I found the Alum Service Corps to be a program allowing me to apply both of my passions into my work, as well as give back to Jesuit education. I am overjoyed to be teaching at, in Denver, Colorado. I am blessed to have the opportunity to challenge and help form students into men and women for and with others.

Molly Roberge St. Louis University High School I was originally introduced to Jesuit education at Regis Jesuit High School Girls Division, graduating in 2010, and continued to live within the tradition of academic excellence at Gonzaga University, in Spokane, Washington, over the previous four years. At Gonzaga University I ran a mentoring program for students with learning disabilities. I bring the skills I learned during that time to my work with the St. Louis University High School community, in St. Louis, Missouri, where I facilitate conversations with students regarding their individual learning styles and how to better acclimate students to the rich and challenging environment at SLUH. I continue to foster my love of the outdoors, yoga, and photography. Michael Schonhoff St. Louis University High School As the fourth and youngest son in my family to attend De Smet Jesuit High School, in St. Louis, Missouri, I embarked on the family tradition of Jesuit education. After graduating in 2010, I spent a year as a Jesuit novice living, learning, and praying in the Society before discerning to leave. I graduated from Saint Louis University in 2014, where I studied social work and theology. But my time in Jesuit formation is not over. This year I m diving in to the St. Louis University High School community, where I am teaching freshmen theology, working with campus ministry, and helping with water polo. I am both honored and humbled to be part of ASC24. Andrew Struttmann I am a 2011 graduate of De Smet Jesuit High School. I went on to study at Saint Louis University where I received a Bachelor s degree in theology with a minor in biology. This year I am working at Rockhurst High School, in Kansas City, Missouri, teaching theology to freshmen and sophomores, coaching soccer, and working with campus ministry. I m really excited for this opportunity to share my talents and experiences with our students while also helping them reach their full potentials. ASC has already been a huge blessing in my life and I am confident it will only become a better experience. Gabe Vitale I graduated from St. Louis University High School in 2009 and studied theology, history, and secondary education at Saint Louis University. Throughout my college years I had the most amazing opportunity to serve in leadership roles through both parish youth ministry and high school tennis programs in the St. Louis area. It was through these roles that I slowly developed a passion for working with youth, which ultimately led to my discernment of wanting to teach high school theology. Currently, I am teaching theology at, in Kansas City, Missouri, while also assisting in the many campus ministry and service programs the school has to offer. I am not only working my dream job but also am surrounded by a remarkable community. GO HAWKLETS!

Allis Werkmeister Regis Jesuit High School Girls Division Hello! Since kindergarten I ve had the opportunity to enjoy Catholic education: first at Holy Infant Catholic School and John F. Kennedy Catholic High School in St. Louis until 2010, then at Rockhurst University in Kansas City until In addition to my English and theology degrees, I fell in love with the Jesuits passion for learning and the development of the person as a whole. After college I spent a year working at Newman University in Kansas, and I am now looking forward to spending time with my Ignatian family once again. I am so excited to have joined with the Jesuits, as I teach sophomore British literature at Regis Jesuit High School Girl s Division in Denver, Colorado! Tim Wilmes De Smet Jesuit High School Jesuit education has been an incredibly formative part of my life for the past eight years at St. Louis University High School and Xavier University, and I m grateful to be able to make Jesuit spirituality a part of my professional life. As a native St. Louisan, I m excited to come home and immerse myself in the De Smet Jesuit High School community, where I am teaching freshman theology and computer fundamentals. Outside the classroom I love hanging out with friends and family, especially when it involves watching or discussing St. Louis or XU sports. I m so thankful for this awesome opportunity and for the ASC24 community, and I can t wait to experience all of the wonders and unknowns that this year has to offer.
