1 Creighton University 2017 Level II Boot Camp Four-Day Intensive CFA Review Program Creighton University is excited to offer our 8th annual, intensive 4-day BootCamp for the June CFA exam at our campus in downtown Omaha. Our program is intentionally scheduled just a few weeks before exam day making it the ideal supplement to weekly review courses or self-study preparation. Thursday, May 11 through Sunday, May 14 Sessions will run from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm each day Why You Should Come to Omaha: We have been delivering a high-quality review experience for local candidates for over a decade. In an effort to support the needs of candidates from outside of Omaha, we are offering a condensed 4-day Boot Camp to review the most crucial material for your upcoming June CFA exam. We teach this same material in our Master of Investment Management program and our weekly CFA review class. We can t guarantee that by attending our review sessions you will pass the exam but we are confident, based on our experience and knowledge of the material, that we can help you be more prepared. Our Team: Our knowledgeable team of instructors has years of experience in delivering CFA review education. We also teach the material in our Master of Investment Management program and in our weekly review program so we know this material exceptionally well. Our experience and knowledge of the curriculum make us well-suited to tailor this condensed review training to suit your needs. Cost: The price of this review session is $899. Cost includes refreshments during breaks, lunch, and a Kaplan/Schweser Mind Map slide pack. You may also purchase a Kaplan/Schweser package of study materials, which include Schweser Notes Volumes 1-5, Schweser QuickSheet, Practice Exam Volume 1, SchweserPro QBank and Review Workshop Workbook at a substantial discounted price of $250. The Schweser materials will be shipped soon after you register for the boot camp. 2 2017 Creighton Level II Boot Camp Instructors Randy D. Jorgensen, Ph.D., CFA Dr. Jorgensen is a Professor of Finance and Director of the Master of Investment Management and Financial Analysis program at Creighton University. Dr. Jorgensen has taught classes in all three of Creighton s CFA review courses over a number of years. His teaching in the MIMFA program includes portfolio management, fixed income, derivatives, quantitative analysis, and ethics. He has published a number of articles in various refereed academic and professional journals. Dr. Jorgensen received his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri in 1994 and earned his CFA designation in Prior to his career in academics, he was a bank examiner and a commercial loan officer. Melissa Woodley, Ph.D., CFA Dr. Woodley is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Creighton University. She teaches Fixed Income and Derivatives in Creighton s MIMFA program and review programs. Prior to joining Creighton s faculty in 2012, she taught at Samford University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has published articles in journals including the Journal of Applied Finance, the Journal of Trading, and the Journal of Accounting and Finance. Dr. Woodley earned a PhD in finance from the University of Alabama in 2007 and became a CFA charterholder in Ken Washer, DBA, CFA, CPA, CFP Dr. Washer is a Professor of Finance and has been at Creighton University since He earned his graduate degrees at Louisiana Tech University and has taught at Morehead State University and Texas A&M-Commerce. He has published articles in journals including Applied Financial Economics, The Journal of Banking and Finance, The CPA Journal, and Financial Planning and Counseling. Dr. Washer lives in Omaha with his wife and two daughters. He teaches Quantitative Analysis and Portfolio Management in Creighton s MIMFA program. Dr. Washer earned his CFA charter in of Charlie Braymen, Ph.D., CFA Dr. Braymen is an Associate Professor of Economics at Creighton University. Prior to joining Creighton in 2011, Dr. Braymen taught at Kansas State University for four years. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of North Carolina. Dr. Braymen teaches courses related to international economics and finance at Creighton University and has published journal articles on similar topics. Dr. Braymen teaches Economics of Investment Analysis in Creighton s MIMFA program. He worked at Ameritrade (now TDAmeritrade) and Ameriprise Financial before his academic career.

Harris, CFA, CPA John has more than 20 years of experience in credit and financial management, with particular emphasis in the areas of commercial loan valuation and asset recovery. In addition to his accounting practice, John operates Financial Accounting Workshops, a provider of accounting education and training to business professionals. John earned both an MBA and MS from the University of North Texas and a BBA from Texas Tech University. John has lectured for Boston University, Credit Suisse, the CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth, the Dallas Morning News, the German CFA Society, Goldman Sachs, the Houston Society of Financial Analysts, the Italian CFA Society, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, the CFA Society of the Netherlands, Northern Trust, Schweser Study Program, the South Africa CFA Society, the Swiss CFA Society, Texas Woman s University, the United Kingdom Society Investment Professionals, and the University of Texas at Arlington Center. Clinton Rushing currently serves as Vice President-Investment Strategy at D.A. Davidson & Co., a firm with more than $40 billion in assets under management (AUM). In this role, he manages the equity research function for The Concordant Fund, LLC and plays a pivotal role in the overall portfolio management process. Prior to joining D.A. Davidson & Co., he served as Vice President-Investment & Brand Strategy at SMITH HAYES, where he was responsible for creating, developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and communications for the firm. In addition, Clinton has served as an adjunct professor at Creighton University, where he has instructed on such topics as Quantitative Methods for Investment Analysis and Quantitative Analysis II. Clinton received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University-Kellogg School of Management, in Evanston, Illinois and received his BSBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with a double major in Finance & Banking. Clinton has earned the right to utilize the CFA designation and is an active member of the CFA Society of Nebraska. 6 2017 Creighton Boot Camp Level II May Minor adjustments to the initial time blocks by the instructor should be expected. 15-minute breaks are scheduled at approximately 10:15 AM, 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. 60-minute lunch breaks are scheduled for 12:15 PM.
