Prior to returning to faculty, Dr. Basu spent fifteen years as the Vice-President for Academic Affairs for OSU-Tulsa. Dr. Basu researches and teaches in the areas of leadership, employee performance, team building, and change management. He also speaks nationally and internationally to firms in the aerospace, energy, financial services, technology, manufacturing, government, and non-profit sectors. is the Director of Surveillance at the San Manuel Casino in Highland, California. Mr. Beaudoin s surveillance career began in Southern California at the Bicycle Club Casino in early 2001 after he got out of the Army. Mr. Beaudoin relocated to Las Vegas in 2002 and began working for American Casino and Entertainment Properties, where he eventually headed Surveillance at two of their properties, Arizona Charlie s Decatur and the Stratosphere. After leaving the Stratosphere, Mr. Beaudoin headed Security and Surveillance at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the Palms Casino Resort and the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino. Abbey Davis Abbey Davis is currently the Director of the Eastin Center for Career Readiness and an adjunct management instructor in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. Before joining OSU, Abbey worked as a fulltime corporate HR professional specializing in the areas of talent development, organizational development, performance management and compensation. She has supported internal business clients with these specializations in both energy and manufacturing industries. Abbey received her bachelor s degree in human resources and MBA from OSU. is a lecturer at the University of Nevada, Reno s School of Continuing Education focused on slot management and has also published articles on slot management and technology. Mr. Jordan has executive level experience in the Gaming Industry where he has served as a general manager, product designer, corporate strategist, technology entrepreneur, and operating executive with a background in marketing, operations, business development, and technology. The deep experience in large casino & hotel resorts and gambling technology companies came from having worked with some of the largest companies in gaming, Aristocrat, IGT, and MGM Resorts International. Andrew Urich Andrew L. Urich, J.D., is Director of Student Development for the Eastin Center for Career Readiness holds the Eastin Center Chair for Career Readiness at Oklahoma State University and is an Associate Professor of Management in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. Professor Urich was a member of the Executive MBA faculty at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi & Dubai from 2004 to Prior to joining the faculty at OSU, he practiced law with a major corporate law firm in Ohio. Since 1993 he has presented at well over 1,000 corporate professional development programs and conventions in the areas of Influence, Negotiation, Ethics, Critical Thinking and Professional Image. Besides his practical gaming experience, Zender holds a Bachelors degree in Hotel Administration and a Masters in Business. As a gaming author, Mr. Zender has penned a number of non-fiction books on gaming including Pai Gow Without Tears, Card Counting for the Casino Executive, How to Detect Casino Cheating at Blackjack, Advantage Play for the Casino Executive, Casino-ology 1 & 2, and is a monthly contributor to Casino Enterprise Management Magazine.
