26 Local Trails Hiawatha: Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. The 1,214 hectare (3000 acre) Hiawatha Highlands is the area of choice for their hiking, jogging, cross- country skiing, picnicking and nature study Monocle Lake. The trail leads along the lakeshore for about a quarter mile to a bench by the water and at this point the decision is yours as to whether you would prefer to stay on the trail along the water or to take the trail to the left, which leads up to a high bluff overlooking the lake

32 Academic Philosophy Academics are considered your first priority at Lake Superior State University. However, athletics are considered an integral part of the academic experience. Our athletes must be dedicated in all phases of the academic experience and therefore are required to attend all classes and study tables. All Athletes are required to attend a minimum of 3hours per week of study tables. (Some seniors might be granted exceptions based on their cumulative GPA) Study tables are in the Learning Center.
