4 FIELD EXPERIENCES COURSES: Three field experiences courses (3903, 4413, and 4470) are part of the undergraduate degree programs. Courses may NOT be taken at the same time. See a brief description of each course below. CTED Seminar in Professional Education This course focuses on initial admission to professional education and includes information about certification requirements and requires a cumulative 45 hours over the course of the semester. Individuals who are currently teaching will have to complete 25 hours of observation. Students will also complete Portfolio I. Recommended that traditional students (those not already currently teaching) create a schedule that allows for at least one day per week block of 6 hours or more Stillwater CRN#60995 Tulsa CRN#63877 CTED CTED Practicum I Prerequisites for this course are CTED Organized teaching experiences for a cumulative 15 hours in schools will be completed in addition to online reflections and discussions. Students will also complete Portfolio II in this course. Stillwater CRN#61031 Tulsa CRN#63881 CTED Teaching Practicum in CTE II Prerequisites for this course are both 3903 and 4413 and full admission to professional education. The teaching practicum is full time in a CT classroom for a minimum of 12 weeks. Individuals already teaching will complete the practicum in their own classrooms. Students will also complete Portfolio III in this course.
