As professional solid waste drivers in the State of Florida, this is your opportunity to show off your skills as some of the best solid waste drivers, operators and mechanics in the business. I encourage you to use this opportunity to get to know your colleagues in the solid waste industry, share ideas, stories and learn a few safety tips along the way. Travel about 1 mile, then turn right on Waring Road. Travel about 1 mile, then turn right on Old Medulla Road. Flightline Drive is about 1 mile down the road. Heavy Equipment Competition: Polk County Landfill 10 Environmental Loop S Winter Haven, FL From the hotel, turn right on Drane Field Road. Travel about 1 mile, then turn left on Waring Road. Turn right to merge onto FL-570 E toward Auburndale (toll road). Continue on FL-570 E for 9.5 miles to Decastro Rd. Take exit 14 and turn left on Decastro Rd. Continue straight on Decastro Rd. past the scale house and event will be on the right.
