(Mandatory) 4:00 p.m. Written Exam and Briefings for Contestants (60 minutes for written exam) Note: Unlike in the recent past, Contestants will take the written exam in their respective bullpen rooms. After completing and turning in the written exam, Contestants may leave for the day. Note: To ensure the integrity of the Championships, all spouses, family members, friends, colleagues, spectators and other unauthorized individuals will be restricted access to the total 2 nd Floor, 3 rd Floor and Hall F of the Convention Center for the duration of event. Those with an appetite for excellent food, music, entertainment and shopping find it all in America's most alluring city. We hope this information will be useful to you as you plan your stay in the Crescent City Taxicabs: A cab ride costs $28.00 from the airport to the Central Business District (CBD) for one or two persons and $12.00 (per passenger) for three or more passengers. Pick-up is on the lower level, outside the baggage claim area. There may be an additional charge for extra baggage. Airport Shuttle: Shuttle service is available from the airport to the hotels in the CBD for $13.00 (per person, one-way), $26.00 (per person, round-trip), or $24.00 (per person, round-trip for two or more people when purchased at the airport). Three bags per person. Call or (504) for more details or to make a reservation. Advance reservations are required 48 hours prior to travel for all ADA accessible transfers. Please call well enough in advance for the specially-equipped shuttle to be reserved. For group reservations of 10 or more people please dial Ticket booths are located on the lower level in the baggage claim area. Airport Limousine Service: Non Scheduled walk up limousine and sedan service available from the airport to the Central Business District (CBD) and the French Quarter. The rate is $35.00 for one or two people and $10.00 per additional passenger for up to 8 passengers (total vehicle capacity). Limousine information desks are located on the lower level baggage claim areas. Amtrak: The Rail Station is located at 1001 Loyola Avenue. Amtrak does not provide transportation to or from the airport. Passengers should use limousine, public bus or taxi service to reach the station.
