1 Like Tweet December 7, 2017 Christmas Magnificent Celebration Christmas Magnificent led by Mrs. Sanders and her 1st - 5th grade music students, high and middle school Theatre Arts class, high school Worship Training, CHCA middle school drum line, middle school Direct Connection, and a few special guests was presented in an all school chapel on Thursday, December 7th in the worship center of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. 2 CHCA Diver Medals at State Cottage Hill Christian Academy freshman, Lexi Cubitt placed 2nd overall in the Alabama High School Athletic Association state diving championship, class 1A-5A division that was held at Auburn University on December 1st and 2nd. Lexi placed 9th for all classifications! Congratulations Lexi! RoboWarriors Win Regional Invitational Tournament

3 The Cottage Hill Christian Academy RoboWarriors placed first in the SouthBEST Robotics Inaugural Regional Invitational Tournament (RIT) at Auburn University last weekend. CHCA Team #250 from the Jubilee BEST Hub in Mobile had six consistent rounds earning them top scores. They along with the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place RIT winners immediately joined the Regional BEST Championship rounds where they performed well with other teams from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee. 4 Million Word Readers Congratulations to Emily Newton, Ashlyn Newton, and Christopher Ho, the newest members of the CHCA Million Word Royal Readers Club! #ReadingWarriors Friday Family Forum The next meeting of the CHCA Friday Family Forum will be on Friday, December 8th at 8:30 a.m. in the Junior High Space on the Church Campus. The objective of the forum is to provide an additional avenue for communication about the day to day happenings at CHCA. This will be a time to inform parents of good news and upcoming events. We hope to see you at this Friday. The Best Present Ever Musical Our K2-K5 students are excited to present The Best Present Ever musical to their families, friends, and our elementary students. The program will be on Friday,

8 Christmas Break Cottage Hill Christian Academy will be closed for Christmas break from December 18th-January 2nd. Students return to school for the 3rd quarter on January 3, Lost & Found We have an abundance of items in Lost and Found. Please come by the offices to check to see if any items belong to your student. We will donate items left after the first of the year. Extended Care Balances Extended care balances are due monthly. All outstanding balances must be paid by the first of the year. For questions regarding a balance please contact the finance office at or allyh@chbss.org.
