Order a RTCA Grandparent or Parent T-shirt to commemorate the occasion. Orders can also be placed through the school's website. All orders must be received no later than Friday, September 4th to be received in time for distribution on Grandparents Day. 2 New Families What is Spirit Wear? Students, teachers and parents may show off their Conqueror's Pride by participating in Spirit Day on Tuesday, September 8th. To show RTCA school spirit, students MUST wear RTCA spirit wear or the RTCA school uniform to participate. If you are in need of spirit wear, order today from Helpful Hint: P.E. T-shirt and jeans are a great alternative until you are able to purchase spirit wear! What Happens on Grandparents' Day? We honor our grandparents with a student led program and a yummy breakfast. Grandparents also have an opportunity to visit students in their classrooms. The schedule is as follows: 8:15 a.m. - Program begins 9:15 a.m. - Breakfast 10:00 a.m. - Classroom visits

6 Reid Temple Christian Academy PTSA Candidate Interest Form School Year RTCA PTSA needs you! Join the PTSA Board to ensure the continued success of RTCA. Board members are required to volunteer a minimum of 30 hours per school year and attend monthly PTSA board and general parent meetings. Please complete this interest form and place in the PTSA box in the main office or return electronically to rtcaptsa@gmail.com. Candidates will be presented to the full PTSA and elected during the September 8th PTSA meeting. Forms are due by September 4, Contact rtcsptsa@gmail.com with questions. Vacant Position for School Year Vice President Vice President: assists the president in leading the PTSA towards specific goals; oversees special committee as assigned by the president; reviews and edits all documents to be approved by the PTSA president and Head of School or designee before publishing; shall in their designated order perform the duties of the President in the absence or inability of that officer to serve; and shall perform other delegated duties as assigned.
