2 DEPUTIES OF THE MONTH Deputy Jacquelyn M. Cosper, assigned to the Gardere substation, has been named Uniform Patrol Deputy of the Month. Deputy Cosper began with the office in 2013 assigned to FTO program; she was transferred to Uniform Patrol in She is commended for going beyond the call of duty by being influential in persuading a patient who had previously refused to be treated by EMS to seek medical treatment for a serious health condition. Deputy Wesley R. Chandler is being recognized as Corrections Deputy of the Month. He began his career with the office in Deputy Chandler is a loyal and dedicated employee. His keen observation and attentiveness led to the confiscation of contraband hidden by an inmate. Sergeant Nathan G. Harrison is Detectives and Special Operations Deputy of the Month. Sergeant Jackson began his career with the office in 2003 in Corrections; he was later transferred to Narcotics in He is a hard worker and diligent Narcotics Agent who is responsible for the recent arrests of 9 violators, the seizure of a large quantity of illegal narcotics and a very large sum of cash. Deputy Lynette V. Tillotson, assigned to the Tax Office, began her full time service with the office in Deputy Tillotson is dedicated and a hard worker who never complains about her work load. She is being honored as Civil Deputy of the Month. Deputy Gloria J. Taplin, assigned to the Human Resources Division, has earned Administrative/Support Services Deputy of the Month. She started her tenure with the office in 2005 in Prison Records; she later transferred to the Warrants Division then Human Resources Division. She is commended for the extra efforts she made to assist all deputies who questions and/or needed changes made during the annual health insurance Open Enrollment period.

Thanks to Scott for all of his hard work, and dedication to the Sheriff s Office, and to the citizens of East Baton Rouge Parish. Sgt. Karen Moss received the Outstanding Law Officer Award from the Baton Rouge Association of Women Attorneys. received the 2016 Outstanding Law Enforcement Award, from the Baton Rouge Association of Women Attorneys.
