You may be seated (Roadrunner Caller) Would the roadrunner chaplain please come forward to give tonight s devotional? -Roadrunner Chaplain performs devotional- (Roadrunner Chaplain) Joshua Doe will now present the Scout Rank. (Joshua Doe)- The scout rank is the first of seven ranks a scout will earn on his way to Eagle. It marks the passing from Cub Scout pack to a Boy Scout troop, and requires the scout to learn the scout oath and scout law. Will the following scouts please come forward to receive their scout rank. John Doe John Doe Let s give these scouts a round of applause! Ben Doe will now present the Tenderfoot Rank. (Ben Doe) - Hello, I will be acknowledging the scouts who have earned the Tenderfoot Rank. Once a boy earns the rank of Tenderfoot, he starts to understand more about what it is to be a Scout. This rank starts the learning process that will lead him to First Class. In order to earn this rank, a scout must demonstrate basic Camping, First Aid, and Scout skills. Will the following scouts please come forward to receive their Tenderfoot Rank. John Doe Aaron Doe Connor Doe Aaron Doe Dylan Doe Seth Doe Haddon Doe Matthew Doe Let s give these guys a big round of applause! Nicholas Doe will now present the Second Class Rank. (Nicholas) -The Second Class Rank marks that the scout is continuing his learning process and is starting to become an example for younger scouts. He continues to learn first aid, how to
swim and other scouting knowledge. Will the following scouts please come to the stage to receive the Second Class Rank. Jesse Doe Matthew Doe Eric Doe Connor Doe Let s give these scouts a round of applause! Chad Doe will now present the First Class Rank. (Chad comes to the podium for the First Class Rank) (Chad)- When the First Class rank is attained, a scout has learned all the basic camping and outdoors skills of a scout. He can fend for himself in the wild, lead others on a hike or a campout, set up a camp site, plan and properly prepare meals, and provide first aid for most situations he may encounter. A First Class scout is prepared. Will the following scouts please come and receive the First Class Rank. Andrew Doe Nathan Doe Zane Doe Let s give these scouts a round of applause! Max Doe will now present the Star Rank. (Max comes to the podium for the Star Rank) (Max) -The Star Rank is special because, unlike the previous three, the scout must demonstrate an aptitude for leadership, and a heart for service. He also must work diligently to earn at least six merit badges, four of which are from the more difficult list of Eagle required badges. Boys who have earned this rank have showed outstanding integrity and character. Will the following scouts please come and receive the Star Rank: Josiah Doe David Doe Stephen Doe Jacob Doe
Hayden Doe Ben Doe Let s give these scouts a round of applause! Matthew Doe will now present the Life Rank. (Matthew)-When a scout earns the Life Rank, his experience and leadership skills truly come to life. The life rank is the last step on the vigorous climb up Eagle Mountain A scout must earn five more merit badges, three which are eagle required, serve in a leadership position for at least six months and have a total of six hours of service as a star scout. The following scouts have earned the Life Rank. Come up as your name is called. Grant Doe Joshua Doe Bryce Doe Logan Doe Alex Doe Josh Doe Sean Doe Ben Doe Max Doe Let s give these scouts a round of applause! Ian Doe will now present the Eagle Palms. (Ian) When a scout earns an Eagle palm, it demonstrates his devotion to scouting. The Eagle palm goes beyond the Eagle Scout rank, providing additional goals and achievements for those dedicated scouts who have accomplished the cherished rank of Eagle Scout. The following scouts have earned eagle palms: Alex Doe- Bronze Palm Caleb Doe-Bronze Palm Nicholas Doe- 2 nd Bronze Palm Seth Doe-3 rd Gold Palm Let s give these scouts a round of applause! Grayson Doe will now present the first half of the merit badges. (Grayson) - Along with the ranks of Boy Scouting, merit badges go to show how much a scout has learned through his career. While the individual ranks provide a basic understanding of skills, the merit badge introduces a scout to completely new level of knowledge. Some merit badges may take only a couple of hours to earn, while others take several months to complete.
The following scouts will now be awarded the merit badges that they have earned over the past three months: Jared Doe Grayson Doe Horsemanship Environmental Science Photography Ben Doe Lifesaving Sam Doe Grant Doe Wood Carving Citizenship in the Community Emergency Preparedness Andrew Doe Archery Wood Carving Fingerprinting First Aid Paul Doe Wilderness Survival Aaron Doe Forestry Mammal Study First Aid Matthew Doe Bird Study
Let s congratulate these scouts on their Merit Badge achievements! Caleb Doe will now present the service stars. (Caleb): The service star recognizes both scouts and leaders for their participation and leadership in scouting. Please come up when I call your name. Andrew Doe 1 st Year Service Star Timothy Doe 2 nd Year Service Star Joshua Doe 3rd Year Service Star Logan Doe 4th Year Service Star Alex Doe 5th Year Service Star Ben Doe 6th Year Service Star Rodney Doe Please give these scouts and leaders a round of applause!
