2 general information General Information MITRE, designed by Michael Byun, is anchored by a minimalist detailed work-wall that features the application of unique and sophisticated materials. Companion pieces, i.e. freestanding table desks, guest seating, lounge seating, conference tables, and occasional tables, offer various detail options that complement the work-wall piece and complete the work environment. The intent of the designer was to develop a product that strips down the ornamental aspect of each component to express the pure essence of its form, material, and construction. These pieces possess a timeless quality where simplicity, proportion, attention to detail and elegance in execution ensure the longevity of the design statement. Mitre pedestals and vertical cabinets are available with an optional base accent. The base accent finish matches the components' optional finger pull finish. Such transfer to storage shall be deemed delivery to the customer for all purposes, including invoicing. Warranty: Halcon merchandise is manufactured in accordance with the highest standards of design and manufacture, and is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 10 years from date of delivery, under normal use and under conditions for which the product was designed. During this warranty period, Halcon will repair, or at its own option, replace such merchandise as shall prove to be defective. The warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, tampering, negligence or abuse. Fabrics are not warranted against wear or fading. Printed fabrics are not warranted against irregularity in register. COM fabrics are in no way warranted. This warranty does not extend to color, grain, or texture of natural materials such as wood, marble or leather, because of natural variations over which Halcon has no control, and does not warrant matching of color grain or texture, except as specified in the order confirmation. All other warranties (including any warranty of merchanttability or fitness for any particular purpose) are hereby excluded. Wood Finishes Terms and Conditions Prices and Terms: All retail list prices shown are F.O.B. Stewartville, Minnesota. Prices do not include crating, storage, shipping, delivery, installation or taxes. Standard terms are net 30 days with prior credit approval. Large or custom orders may require prepayment and/or progress payments. Order Acknowledgements: All orders and subsequent change orders must be in writting. Halcon Corporation will issue a written acknowledgement. This price list tells you what information must be noted on the purchase order. Any omisson may result in the delay of processing your order. Changes and Cancellations: Requests for changes or cancellations of acknowledged orders must be made in writting and will only be approved by mutual agreement. A minimum 25% restocking charge will apply. Shipping Information: All merchandise is shipped F.O.B. factory, Stewartville, Minnesota. All shipments are made according to the purchaser's instructions, or what in Halcon's judgement is best way if instructions are not received, and at the purchaser's risk. Claims: Halcon Corporation is not responsible for damage to merchandise which occurs in transit or storage. It is the custumer's responsibility to examine furniture upon receipt and note any damage in transit on the carrier's delivery receipt. The customer should immediately file any claim with the carrier. Damage which does not become apparent until the merchandise is unpacked (concealed damage) should be reported to the carrier in writing within 15 days. Any claims against Halcon Corporation for defects, errors or shortages must be made by the customer in writing within five days of the delivery date.
