1 Scholarship Book Apponequet Regional High School 100 Howland Road Lakeville, MA (508)

2 February 2018 Apponequet Regional High School Dear Seniors: I am pleased to present you with the Apponequet High School Scholarship Book. Each year, dozens of community and civic organizations from Lakeville, Freetown and the surrounding areas raise thousands of dollars in scholarships. Without the support of these organizations, we would be unable to provide this $100,000 + in scholarship money to our seniors. Most of these scholarships are only for Apponequet seniors. Some are specifically for Lakeville or Freetown residents. A few are also open to seniors in neighboring towns. It is important for you to read the book carefully and only apply for scholarships for which you are eligible. Some scholarships use Apponequet s Universal Scholarship Application, while others have their own unique application - this book is divided into these two categories. Here s what you need to do: 1. Print or save a copy of the Scholarship Book. Review the scholarships (broken into two sections based on application type) and identify all opportunities you qualify for. I have included a Scholarship Checklist to help you organize. 2. Print designated scholarship applications from Naviance. Every application you need can be found in the Document Library of your Naviance account in the 2018 Scholarship Program folder. 3. Complete and submit one (1) copy of the ARHS Scholarship Program Publication Waiver and all applications to Ms. Graf by the designated deadline(s). PLEASE NOTE: We require applications to be given to Guidance by the deadline published in this book. These dates may vary between scholarships - late and/or incomplete applications will NOT be considered. This book is by no means intended to be a complete listing of all the scholarships in existence. Students and families are again reminded to search out the Orange Crate folder in Naviance, as well as their credit union, bank, church, social club, place of employment and other organizations for possible scholarships. Please contact me with any questions or concerns - good luck! Sincerely, Nicole L. Graf (508) ext ~ ngraf@freelake.org Updated Page 2
