College Match - This tool will allow you to use historical GPA and test score information about students from CHS and their college applications to match you with colleges that you may want to consider adding to your list. Scattergrams This invaluable feature allows you to visually see how you compare to CHS students who have applied to a particular college based on your GPA and ACT or SAT score. Overlaps If you find one or two colleges that you love and would like recommendations of similar schools, click the Overlaps button on the college profile.

Visit to search for even more scholarships! ***The Columbia High School Scholarship Fund*** The CHS Scholarship Fund will distribute scholarship applications outside the main office March 11 th to March 15 th from 1-3pm.The scholarships are need-based and can be used for ANY kind of post-secondary education. The Education Test Services Employees Community Action Fund, Scholarship, & Recognition Programs is pleased to announce scholarships for high school seniors in the state of New Jersey. The application is available online at and is due on March 29, The North Jersey Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers is offering two $1000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who intend to pursue a college career in Civil Engineering. They are awarded to a graduating male high school senior and a graduating female high school senior from the State of New Jersey. 8 YOUTHNET MENTORING/INTERNHIP PROGRAM YouthNet is a local, non-profit 501c3 organization, serving Maplewood and South Orange students in grades 6 through 12. One of its missions includes developing ways for students to gain real world experience and exposure by participating in the mentoring/internship program with local businesses. Internships are available this summer for students, entering grades 9-12, who are hoping to learn more about local merchants, graphic design, insurance, entertainment, and the restaurant industry. Internships are also available with non-profit organizations, municipal offices, local libraries, and volunteer organizations.
