1 NAME Andre Valencia Taylor Bond Memorial Scholarship $500 ELIGIBILITY Your are eligible to apply for and be awarded the Andre Valencia Taylor Bond Memorial Scholarship if: You are a united States citizen, national, refugee alien or permanent resident at the time of application; You are a Latino or African-American senior attending a Dutchess County high school and will be enrolled full-time at Dutchess Community College during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded; You have demonstrated service to your school and your community; You have achieved at least a B (80%) average throughout high school; You have applied for federal and state financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). in order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must demonstrate financial need as defined by the U.S. Department of Education rules for Federal financial aid. 1 Association of Fire Districts of the State of New York Ned Carter Scholarship $1,500 The student must be related to a firefighter, be a firefighter, or be an explorer in a fire department that is a current paid member in good standing of the association of fire districts of the state of New York. The recipient must be continuing on to further their education at either a two or four year accredited college. Awards will be made to those who have and will be entering a career of serviced to the community (Fire Service-related major, Nursing, Social Work, Healthrelated services, Teaching, Librarian, etc.). AXA Achievement Community Scholarship $2,500 Financial need will be a factor in the selection. Be United States citizens or legal residents living or claiming residency in one of the 50 United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico. Be current high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited twoyear or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire academic year. Demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities Special consideration will be given to achievements that empower society to mitigate risk through education and/or action in areas such as financial, environmental, health, safety and/or emergency-preparedness.

Clifford A. Crispell Memorial Community Service Scholarship $500 To be considered for this scholarship, graduating seniors need to submit an essay between words entitled: "The Importance of Community Service and How I Have Contributed". Any current or former athlete (you do not need to be a college athlete to apply). Current or future college students *High school seniors who will be attending college are eligible. This scholarship is intended to benefit those who are pursuing a career related to agriculture. You must be a high school senior accepted in an undergraduate 2 or 4 year program at a recognized institution of higher learning.

3 NAME CSEA Dottie Lattin Memorial Scholarship ELIGIBILITY The "Dottie Lattin Memorial Scholarship" sponsored by Wappingers Central School District Office Personnel Unit which is being offered to a high school senior of a CSEA member. High School seniors need not be attending Wappingers Central School District High schools. 3 CSEA - Region 3 Scholarships Applicants must be the children of Region 3 CSEA members who intend to continue their education in college or trade school. Applications will be scored on point basis. Scholarship Applications can be downloaded from the website additional applications are available at the CSEA Region 3 Office. DCAS Inc. Scholarships $8,000 and $1,000 The Dutchess County Fairgrounds has announced that a scholarship up to a maximum of $8,000 paid in up to four consecutive years will be awarded to a New York State high school senior. Preference will be given to a participant in the programs operated by the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. Visit for the application and requirements. DCCA Achiever Awards $50 Barnes & Noble Gift Card Two student, middle and high school students, from each school district in Dutchess County will be eligible to receive a $50 gift card to Barnes & Noble this June The student must demonstrate strong moral character. The student must have overcome a personal or academic hardship and must be currently demonstrating a strong level of academic success despite that hardship. The student must be someone who contributes positively to the school climate. Delta Kappa Gamma 2015 Alpha Zeta Chapter These scholarships will be given to graduating young women who are interested in pursuing a career in Education.

Scholarships will be awarded for Community Involvement and Academic Achievement. This is a $500 scholarship for a senior planning to attend an institution of higher education with a major course of study in Food Service, Hospitality, Hotel Management or Dietetics. Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York $1,000 The Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York is offering two $1,000 college scholarships to graduating high school seniors or students who will be enrolled at any post high school institution of higher learning. Both scholarships will be awarded to students who are currently being treated for epilepsy and have plans to further their education. Students must have a permanent address within Farm Credit East s territory. Farm Credit East Scholarship $1,500 Students must be pursuing post high school education (full-time) in fall 2015 leading to a career in agriculture, commercial fishing or the forest products industry. Individuals demonstrating through their career plans, experience, program of study and extracurricular activities, significant progress toward and a clear intention for a career in agriculture, forestry or commercial fishing.

5 NAME Joseph Goncalves Student Humanitarian Scholarship ELIGIBILITY This scholarship, one in the amount of $5,000, will be awarded to a graduating senior from a NYSIR subscriber district who plans to attend college in New York State. Applying students should be able to demonstrate a record of involvement and work for a cause or organization that actively promotes social justice, equal opportunity, relief of human suffering or similar aspirations generally understood to be within the meaning of humanitarian activity. 5 Kiwanis Club - "John Heilman College Scholarship Award Program $1,000 The Kiwanis Club of Poughkeepsie is offering a scholarship award in the amount of $1,000 to a graduating high school senior. The members of PNA are committed to the support of nursing education and award an annual scholarship to a high school or college student who has the potential and academic ability to complete a basic RN or upper degree nursing program. This $500 scholarship will be awarded to two candidates who are enrolled at John Jay High School as a senior eligible for graduation. Sports Museum of Dutchess County Day of Golf Scholarship Application $500 The Sport Museum of Dutchess County is sponsoring a scholarship program designed to assist community minded students who are looking to further their education. Applicant must be a resident of Dutchess+B1 County and a graduating high school senior. Selection criteria will be based on community service, academic achievements and athletic achievements.

RID is looking for original messages, in any media, highlighting the "Don't Drink and Drive" message. 7 Twinks Social and Civic Club Scholarship The scholarship is for female African-American high school graduating seniors from Dutchess County. The selection criteria include academic standing (GPA 85 or better), community service, a written essay and a personal interview.
