We are leaders in cardiac care and day oncology treatment, with the only cath lab and the largest private day oncology unit between Townsville and the Sunshine Coast. The Friendly Society Private Hospital has continued to grow in both physical size and services over the past few years. Plans are already underway to build a second cath lab and four additional theatres, expected to be completed in the next few years. We also have additional plans for growth and future expansion, with a master plan spanning the next 20 years. Currently our facility includes: Five surgical and medical wards A 9-bed Critical Care Unit, incorporating a level 4 intensive care unit and level 5 coronary care unit A 14-bed Day Oncology Unit A Cardiac Investigations Unit A Cardiac Cath Lab Medical Consulting Suites and specialist centres The Friendlies is well positioned to provide leading healthcare services now and into the future.
