She is known internationally for her work in leadership development, patient safety and bridging nursing practice and health policy. KEYNOTE SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2015, 7:30 8:30 A.M. Dr. Martha A. Q. Curley is the Ellen and Robert Kapito Professor in Nursing Science at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She also holds a joint appointment in Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine at the University s Perelman School of Medicine and is a Nurse Scientist at Boston Children s Hospital. Her research has specifically focused on multi-site clinical trials to generate new knowledge in the care of critically-ill pediatric patients, instrument development studies to provide clinicians with better tools to assess patient status and risk and interventional studies to support parent needs and priorities in the pediatric intensive care unit. 3 Poster abstract submission and preconference information The conference planning committee invites you to submit an abstract on an education, evidencebased practice, quality improvement or research project of interest to pediatric and neonatal critical care nurses. This is an excellent opportunity to share your work! Abstracts will be reviewed for poster presentation and prizes will be awarded to the best poster in each category. Deadline and acceptance The deadline for submitting abstracts is July 15, Notifications of acceptance will be sent by July 31, 2015 to allow poster presenters to register with early bird status. Abstracts should be submitted as a word document and sent as an attachment to patricia.lincoln@childrens.harvard.edu Presentation area The Joseph B. Martin Conference Center at Harvard Medical School provides a light-filled, open space in which to display and view posters. Breakfast, a box lunch and afternoon snack will be served on the first day of the summit (September 25). Additionally, appetizers will be served during an evening cocktail reception.
