Please provide any additional comments/feedback that you feel will help to enhance the level of services provided by POM. Text Entry I have experienced consistent problems with HVAC systems that are never properly repaired in multiple buildings. It is not conducive to teaching or research to have classrooms, offices and labs that get well over 90 degrees in hot weather. Have more support from the administration, to provides handbooks of the rulers and procedures of the University. Upper management need to take time out to meet with supervisors, coordinate and superintendent on what is going on in the division All levels of employees need to have more input on discrepancies that are sighted within the unit, and management need to adhere to hard working employees and rely more on their expertise. the restrooms in the Foote-Hilyer Administration Center on the second floor always have a strange odor and are never really clean I have found that often projects are completed but the crew does not clean up after themselves. I suspect some of them might think that the custodial staff will just get it cleaned up that night. The cleaning staff is awesome. However, Tucker Hall has students taking classes from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The restrooms smell awful and are filthy during the afternoon hours. I have had the same problem over, over, over, over and over again. I have to check, recheck, recheck and recheck on a service request. I had one request that was never taken care of. I cancelled it after several months of waiting. I really believe that the person the request goes to should let you know that status of the request and what stage it is in. (I.e., waiting on supplies, you have been scheduled for approximately what date, etc). The custodial staff should be told that cleaning the restrooms entails more than just emptying the trash. The floors should be mopped on a daily basis, toilets cleaned, and sinks cleaned. Too little vacuuming observed. You don't always see dirt or crumbs in the carpet. Services improving over time. 7 Text Entry (Continued) p o m does a fine job with limited personnal None at this time. Good job! Custodial services are terrible!!! Our restrooms are poorly cleaned, smelly and should be rased. Mr. Walker and the POM workers are always nice, helpful and go above and beyond. Dissatisfication is NOT with the workers, but the general processes or lack thereof for getting things done. OUTSTANDING STAFF within POM! I am very satisfied with the services I receive. When I call or submit paperwork, staff is courteous, and within a day or so my request is complete. It rains inside when it rains outside, pipes are leaking,no hot water for showers or change rooms, we are very dissatisfied for POM service As AN STAFF WORKER I FEEL SOME AREAS NEEDED WORKING ON PEOPLE NOT DOING THERE WORK PROPERLY, ALOT OF WORKERS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THERE TIME, COMPLAINTS IN BUILDINGS THAT ARE NOT SERIOUS FROM FAULTY AND STAFF, WE NEED MORE FAULTY AND STAFF TO DO THE JOB N/A I'm satisfied N/A A lot of work need to be done in this department. I use the stairs rather than the elevators. I would like to see the stairs cleaned on a regular basis in the FHAC. THE SERVICE COULD BE BETTER. Sometimes, the ladies rooms in FHAC are filthy, lack tissue paper, paper towels, have dirty sinks and have an overall non-disinfected odor...just need more attention to details please. Thank you very much! Good Job! The equipment in the classrooms needs to be properly maintained, especially the computer equipment. The temperature in the classrooms is either too cold or too hot and it makes it unpleasant for students and the professor who is standing up teaching for hours. The handicap buttons to open doors sometimes do not work. This is in the law school in Orlando. The rest rooms would never pass the health dept. code. Foote-Hilyer is so full of mold it should be condemned. Does anyone know how to clean glass mop floors or even sweep any thing that doesn't slap them in the face. A lot of the guys in POM just ride around the campus in circles looking at girls and don't be doing work. It is sad to see how they look at some of these girl and they are the kids age. I follow one vehicle one day that rode around the campus for 10 minutes without stopping to work not even once. Burning up gas looking at girls Some shops are slow to respond to Work Orders or do not show up to appointments. No N/A I think all POM staff deserve a pay increase!! I appreciate what you all do...keep up the great work!! There is a need to communicate to the requester when the requested service/task has been completed. there is a disconnect between recording a request and actually having personnel respond to the request. POM has made some improvements. Would like more professional interactions and timely responses. This is a place of business. However, we as the University are not showing good housekeeping. We should uphold the responsibility to enhance our workspace and and work areas. No Feedback Restrooms could be maintained better. Grounds staff and other POM staff are in the area however the grounds are not adequately maintained and trash or maintenance materials seem to pile up near facility. There is no consistent changing of filters. Page 7 of 7
