1 Fiscal Year 204 Annual Report Highlights making strides
2 mission to provide extraordinary care, close to home vision to build a healthier community values integrity, teamwork and respect We made great strides in expanding our reach and impact on our community. Jeffrey E. Snyder A Message from the PRESIDENT & CEO The Pocono Health System (PHS) exists to provide our patients with extraordinary health care in the comfort of their hometown surrounded by family and friends. As you will see in this annual report, the past year was exemplary in many ways. We made great strides in expanding our reach and impact on our community. From our stroke telemedicine program that gives our patients real-time access to leading neurologists to our medical homes that deliver streamlined, patient-focused care, it s all part of how we re forging ahead to build a healthcare system that meets the needs of the people we serve. We hope you will also get a glimpse of why PHS has earned many recognitions and awards. On a daily basis, I m inspired by the hard work of our physicians, nurses and staff who continually go above and beyond to serve our patients and neighbors with respect, compassion and excellence. It s what makes PHS truly special. Jeffrey E. Snyder President & CEO Pocono Health System (PHS) Pocono Medical Center (PMC) Of course, it takes many different teams of talented people working together to bring the very best healthcare to our region.
