We have modernized our whole department so I have a lot to share with regards to contracting, budgeting, and purchasing equipment, along with the general management of a small rural community hospital. Site #6 OhioHealth Neighborhood Care, Columbus, OH Host: David Partridge, CRA, FAHRA, Director of Imaging Not-for-profit, multiple hospitals and facilities, imaging center, part of OhioHealth system 150 facility employees, 150,000 procedures performed annually Planned construction includes Freestanding ER in progress and a small hospital in the works Patient satisfaction improvement through consistently scoring >95 with Press Ganey Unique programs include: Lung screening CT, Breast Center of Excellence I manage the 14 outpatient sites and can arrange for this person to meet with any of the people he/she would like to in a 12 hospital system. We would highlight the ability to work as a system and the expansion of outpatient imaging as we move from volume to value.

3 Site#7 Site #8 IU Health Methodist, Indianapolis, IN Host: Wendy McDougall, Manager of Operations Not-for-profit, academic hospital, Part of IU Health 10,000 employees, 900 beds, 219,000 procedures performed annually Planned construction: We are getting ready to get a new spectral CT, we just replaced 2 magnets, we are in the process of consolidating our 2 adult hospitals into one large hospital Patient satisfaction improvement through participation in Studer, among other initiatives. We use NCR picker and scores for Mammo and CT are upper 80's. Ultrasound and MRI lower 80's Integrated service line approach, Trauma 1 center. We have done the NFL combine for past 26 years. We are a partnered site for Philips CT and do site visits. We have an IMRIS magnet in surgery that we scan during neuro surgery. We have 2 portable CT machines and use O-arm technology in surgery. Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, WV Host: Brenda DeBastiani, CRA, FAHRA, Director of Imaging Not-for-profit, community hospital, part of Mon Health System 1,700 facility employees, 189 beds, 76,000 procedures performed annually Current construction of Radiation Therapy, Fixed PET/CT, OR renovation, Lab renovation Patient satisfaction improvement through participation in Press Ganey (ongoing efforts for constant improvement) We are in the process of broadening our radiology supervisor's responsibilities to include overseeing global ultrasound, which includes multiple physician office sites. To make this possible, we just upgraded our Lead Tech's position to become a CT/Radiology Supervisor, which will free up time for the modality supervisor to visit the offices, help with ACR accreditation at those sites, etc. Our US department's volume is through the roof, so we had to come up with a creative way to accommodate patient's needs, improve employee satisfaction, as well as improve patient satisfaction scores. We created 2 rooms that work 12 hour shifts to perform OP exams, with only OP responsibilities (straight through). 1 US room is a "stat room", and the other US room is a "work room" that performs routine inpatient exams, add-on OP exams, etc. This change has helped us make huge improvements in all satisfaction areas as well as create additional OP slots to accommodate patients' needs. This is new for us, but has proved successful.

4 Site#9 Monroe Clinic, Monroe, WI Host: Amy Hollis, Imaging Coach Not-for-profit, Catholic, community hospital 800 facility employees, 100 beds, 45,470 procedures performed annually Outpatient clinic remodel - underway. We are building a memory care facility and a hospice facility. Hospital is 4 years old. Patient satisfaction improvement through participation in Press Ganey, Tied to our GainShare, Collaborative Practice Model for patient experience Service line approach to Mammography, Virtual Colonoscopy, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Diagnostic Radiography, Nuclear Medicine/PET Our leadership model is based on coaching employees as opposed to managing them. We have smaller leader to staff ratios. Our processes are lean based and the staff is highly engaged in the program. We employ Standard Work that is created by the users where the work is done. We have a clinic located in a retail store (Shopko) and have a clinic inside one of our large employers (Colony Brands). We are the only hospital in the county. Though we are not large we are independent and successful through the work of our leaders and employees.
