Supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the well-being of inland Australia AND Expressing support of giving a hand up and not a hand out to Indigenous Australians BY Encouraging partnerships to establish Traditional Owner operated businesses and foster independence Relationships established at this stage provide a credible platform for mutually beneficial enterprise opportunities
Show your support to the idea of giving a hand up! Through a donation to the RFDS And consider sponsoring Team Hands Up Thus earning our place on the Hands Up honour board Current Planned Race Course
The RFDS Outback Air Race is a catalyst and links the various groups who have an interest in remote Australia Foster enterprise and local economic development Establish genuine partnerships Not just jobs people work for themselves in their own businesses Support gentle, gradual, yet compelling change Consider seeding and supporting bigger business opportunities if and when appropriate Post Race Course
Leanne McKenzie, a pilot, works in community development in regional and remote WA, with a focus on creating local enterprise opportunities. She is Director of Urban Aesthetics Jason Cottier has developed housing programs in regional and remote communities for over 12 years and grew up in the Pilbara. Unfortunately Jason will be unable to participate. Noel Archer is an experienced resource industry professional (minerals as well as oil and gas) and a pilot
The RFDS is a great cause Our backgrounds and beliefs led logically to our vision and to try to achieve even more from the race We share an interest in flying Burrup Peninsula Rock Art
Show support for the vision through a donation to the RFDS and appear on our honour board Become aware of the IBA (Indigenous Business Australia) and its work in supporting small business start ups Beyond the air race build on the vision working with Team Hands Up and Urban Aesthetics Consider becoming a Significant Sponsor or the Major Sponsor of Team Hands Up and establishing real outcomes post-race
Subject to level of sponsorship support Logos on air craft Paper based media Stories in Perth and en-route newspapers Noongar radio NITV segment Various websites, social media Burrup Peninsula Rock Art
Team Sponsor RFDS donation of up to $1,000 with optional additional 20% sponsorship to be listed as a team supporter Significant Team Sponsor RFDS donation of $1,000 or more with optional 20% team sponsorship to be listed as a significant sponsor and have your logo on promotional material Major Sponsor Choose to be the team s Major Sponsor and have your logo on the plane. Be acknowledged in all promotional material, announced at fundraising. Make a proposal by 1 August and leave your mark! The Full Route Departing & returning to Perth
Higher profile exposure of your current and any previous support of the RFDS P.R through establishing contacts with the Aboriginal community Build trust and networks Partnerships built around genuine and sustainable economic development for Aboriginal people Take a strong position, be known and already engaged prior to any formal need to negotiate Show your preference for a hand up!
