12 COLOPHON Volume 84 of the University of Delaware's Blue Hen Yearbook was lithographed by HerfF Jones Inc. of Gettysburg, PA. The book utilized a 9" x 12" format and had a press run of 1,000 copies with 270 pages. Cover graphics were designed by the Blue Hen staff with the assistance of the Herff Jones art department. The cover was manufactured with an Evergreen base material and a process 4/color tip-on to highlight the "Out of the Blue" logo. Gold foil stamping was applied to both the front lid and spine. The book's endsheets were blind embossed on an emerald green deckled edge creme paper stock. All body copy and caption copy was set in Century Schoolbook type face with decorative type fonts used for headline treatments. Body copy was set in 10 point type size and captions were set in 8 point. The Blue Hen Yearbook is a non-profit, student run publication. The book is printed annually for the enjoyment of the University of Delaware community past, present and future.
