2 JOIN THE FUN! From the opening social on Friday night through the prayer service on Sunday morning, Alumnae/i Weekend 2018 has something for everyone! This brochure includes a basic schedule of the events planned for Alumnae/i Weekend 2018 and a registration form. You can also see the most up-to-date schedule and register online at dom.edu/alumniweekend. ATTENTION CLASSES OF 1992, 1993, AND 1994! We are hosting a cluster-style reunion for the Classes of 1992, 1993, and 1994 to celebrate their 25th Year Silver Jubilee Reunion. Don t miss this opportunity to reconnect with classmates from the early 90 s!

President s Reception for the Class of th Golden Jubilee Celebrants 5:00 6:30 p.m. President s Home (transportation provided from Power Hall at 4:45 p.m.) The 50th Reunion class celebrates its Golden Jubilee with a special reception hosted by President Donna M. Carroll in her Oak Park home. Opening Social 6:30 9:30 p.m. Parmer Hall, Shaffer Silveri Atrium Join us for the official opening of Alumnae/i Weekend 2018! 4 ALUMNAE/I WEEKEND SCHEDULE Saturday, June 9 Alumnae/i Weekend Welcome Center 8:00 a.m. 7:30 p.m. Lewis Alcove If you are unable to join us on Friday, please pick up your welcome packet when you arrive. Welcome Breakfast 8:00 9:30 a.m. Dining Hall Presidential Briefing 10:00 11:30 a.m. Fine Arts Building, Eloise Martin Recital Hall President Donna M. Carroll will give an update on the university and the Powerful Promise campaign. Alumnae/i Luncheons 11:30 a.m. 1:00 p.m. Separate luncheons will be held for the 50th reunion Golden Jubilee class, the 25th reunion Silver Jubilee class, Rosarian alumnae (class of 1967 and earlier), and a general luncheon for all other guests. Class Photos Scheduled throughout the day The schedule will be posted at Alumnae/i Weekend. Campus Tours and Afternoon Programming Sessions 1:30 4:00 p.m. Special campus tours and afternoon programming sessions are being planned and will be announced on the Alumnae/i Weekend website soon. University Archives Display Scheduled throughout the day View old yearbooks, reminiscent photos and other special items from your time on campus. Alumnae/i Weekend Mass 5:00 p.m. Rosary Chapel This liturgy includes a candle and rose procession and the blessing of pins for milestone reunion classes. Cocktail Reception 6:30 7:30 p.m. Rebecca Crown Library and Patio All alumnae/i are invited to gather for cocktails and hors d oeuvres. All-Alumnae/i Awards Dinner 7:30 9:00 p.m. Social Hall Enjoy an elegant dinner together while we honor distinguished alumnae/i with the presentation of the Caritas Veritas Award, the Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) Award, and the O Keefe Outstanding Volunteer Achievement Award. Seating will be assigned by classes. Alumnae/i After-Dinner Lounge 9 p.m. Midnight Clock Lobby and Lower Cloister Walk Keep the party going in the Clock Lobby and Lower Cloister Walk. Drink tickets will be sold. Coffee, tea and desserts will be available in the Coughlin Commons Multipurpose Room for those who wish to stay up late and enjoy a quieter atmosphere. 7 ALUMNAE/I WEEKEND June 8 10, 2018 Housing On-campus housing is available in our newest residence hall, Murray Hall, which is air-conditioned. When possible, reunion classes will be grouped together. When you sign up for on-campus housing, please be sure to include the names of those with whom you wish to room. All rooms are furnished with twin beds, linen service, soap and hangers. Single Rooms: Perfect for guests who wish to have a room to themselves (twin bed). Please note that the layout for single and double rooms are the same (see Murray Hall Cluster Style Room layout below). However, a guest requesting a single room will not be assigned a roommate. Guests staying in single rooms may share a bathroom with up to two other guests, depending on residence hall occupancy. There are three options for guests wishing to stay on campus: Group Suites: For groups of 6-8 people, a limited number of group suites are available. Each group suite features four bedrooms (each sleeping two people) and two shared bathrooms. Group suites also feature a communal gathering area and kitchenette with full-sized refrigerator. Reservations for group suites are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Group suites are not available for groups smaller than six people. Double Rooms: Available for alumnae/i wishing to house with a single roommate (two twin beds). These rooms are cluster-style meaning they share a bathroom with one other single or double room. These clusters are perfect for 2-4 guests who wish to be housed in the same vicinity as one another. Special Needs A limited number of ADA accessible residence hall rooms are available. If you require special accommodations, assistance or dietary requirements, please contact the Office of Alumnae/i Relations as soon as possible at (708) or via at Dominican University is committed to providing equal access and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Transportation If you need assistance with ground transportation options to and from O Hare or Midway airports or rail stations, please contact the Office of Alumnae/i Relations at (708) Dominican offers limited courtesy shuttle service to and from the CTA Green Line L stop at Harlem Ave. & Lake Street. This service is based on availability and must be reserved in advance. Please contact the Office of Alumnae/i Relations for information.
