Reunion weekend provides wonderful opportunities to reminisce with old friends and reconnect with classmates. If you have not visited lately, you may find yourself in awe at the growth of the ever-expanding medical campus and you will be impressed with our medical students. The weekend will offer you a chance to learn about the advances in medical education, earn CME credits, see the sights of St. Louis, and of course, tell stories long forgotten. Mention that you will be attending the Washington University School of Medicine Reunion to receive the discounted room rate. The discounted rate is available for rooms booked before April 5, *Please Note: There are several events scheduled for St. Louis during Reunion weekend. Hotel rooms at The Chase Park Plaza Hotel and The Parkway Hotel and in surrounding areas may book quickly. If the Reunion block has filled before April 5, the hotels may sell additional rooms to guests at standard, published hotel pricing. We suggest booking rooms early to guarantee block pricing and avoid sellout. 8 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Is transportation available from the airport? Cab fare from the airport to The Chase Park Plaza or Parkway Hotel is approximately $30. Visit click on the airport guide page and ground transportation link for additional options from St. Louis Lambert Airport. For those who are interested, the MetroLink light rail system can transport you from Lambert Airport to approximately one mile from The Chase Park Plaza and one block from the Parkway Hotel. One-way tickets cost approximately $4 per person. How will we get around from the hotels to the Medical Campus? Free shuttles will be provided on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday during times when there are activities outside The Chase Park Plaza. Validated parking will be available for the Welcome Reception on Thursday Night, the Class Dinners on Friday night, and Awards Banquet on Saturday night at the Ritz-Carlton. If you choose to drive to events at the medical campus, parking meters are available on McKinley Avenue, Scott Avenue, and across from the Bernard Becker Library. Parking is also available in the South or Metro Garages. Individuals are responsible for these parking fees at all times. What else should I know? All University spaces are non-smoking, unless otherwise indicated. The University no longer sells bottled water or offers bottled water due to the environmental impact. Throughout the Reunion weekend, we request that all alumni and their guests wear their Reunion name tags when participating in Reunion activities. All cancellations requiring a refund must be made in writing to medicalalumni@wustl.edu.

9 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Do I need to pre-register for events? Yes. All events (free and paid) require registration in order to hold a spot for you and your guest(s). What is the appropriate attire for the weekend? Daytime activities: Casual Thursday and Friday evenings: Business casual Saturday evening: Cocktail attire Keep in mind that spring weather in St. Louis can be unpredictable. Packing clothing items that can be layered is always a good option. How will I remember what I registered for? You will receive an electronic confirmation by , regardless of whether you register online or via the registration card. In addition, when you check-in at the registration desk during Reunion, you will receive a personalized itinerary along with your name badge and pocket agenda. Are children welcome at all Reunion events? Is childcare available? Children are welcome at many events. However, the Friday night Class Dinners and the Saturday night Awards Reception and Banquet are an opportunity for only alumni and their spouses and/or guests to gather. If you need a sitter, we recommend contacting TLC for Kids, a licensed temporary child-care service. Phone: Online: What events should I attend? We encourage you to attend as many Reunion events as you can. The schedule has social, educational, and sightseeing options for you and your guest(s). What if I have special dietary or mobility needs? When you register online or over the phone, please be sure to list dietary needs, food allergies, or mobility needs in the space provided. 10 CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION CREDIT Continuing medical education credit is available through the Friday morning CME programming. All registrants are welcome to attend the program; however, a fee applies in order to receive credit. When registering, please be sure to indicate which sessions you will attend. Certificates will be mailed by the CME office at Washington University School of Medicine to participants following the reunion.
