9 Project Summary OCIT System Overview Tunnel flows south to north and will convey dry weather sanitary flow by gravity to the Little Cuyahoga Interceptor (LCI) sewer. System conveys combined sanitary and storm flow during wet weather events. The main tunnel will be 27 finished inside diameter and 6,220 long. Construction will require a closedface TBM and single-pass lining system using pre-cast segments. Five baffle drop shafts; diameters vary from 18 to 45 ; depths vary from 70 to 160.
