21 The FRC Concept FRC will provide the land-based infrastructure supporting multi-crew-concepts FRC will introduce a process-oriented approach to bridge individual training in school house environment, mission preparation, and crew-skill-maintenance FRC will utilize and fully embrace the existing navy organisation as well as functional aspects of the school house environment FRC will utilize system replicas and simulation to maximum extent FRC will utilize TAUES as technical backbone FRC in their substantiation will follow an evolutionary approach, beginning with F125-functionality based in Wilhelmshaven, flanked by an intiative to provide for cross-domain aspects for a FRC-Federation, such as networking, scenario generation & distribution, tactical communication, pier-side training capability, and computer aided training, to finally support the full maritime spectrum training- and work-up-wise
