Hebron Cross Country and Track Booster Club The Hebron Cross Country and Track Booster Club provides two (2) non-renewable, $1,000 scholarships to two Hebron High School seniors (one cross country and one track and field) pursuing post-secondary studies including professional, vocational, and academic studies not limited to colleges and universities. ELIGIBILITY: 1. Graduating Senior. 2. Minimum un-weighted GPA of Must have been a Cross Country or Track athlete for 2 years, including their senior year. Athlete must have participated at either the Junior Varsity or Varsity level. 4. Students are asked to describe their contributions to these areas in a two-page essay. Thirty students will be recognized for this award, five scholarship winners and 25 finalists. Winners will receive a $500 scholarship and finalists will receive plaques. 2. TASSP Academic Excellence Award This award recognizes high school seniors for their outstanding academic achievements. Selection will be based on two factors: 1) a score based on the student's GPA, SAT or ACT scores, and graduation plan pursued (75%); and 2) a written essay (25%). 7 The Zehl & Associates, PC Texas Superhero Scholarship This scholarship is open to any high school senior or college student in Texas. He or she must be enrolled at a two-year to five-year institution for the 2016 school year. A minimum GPA is not required. The scholarship process is competitive and awards are made annually. Disbursements are made each semester based on a verification process that has been designed to ensure that scholarship applicants are meeting academic expectations and have an unmet financial need.
