1 Faculty-level Undergraduate s and Bursaries To be considered for the School s Faculty-level scholarships/bursaries, please apply Financial Aid and/or Donated s through the Office of Financial Aid (OFA) at the Undergraduate Financial Aid portal: from February to April every academic year. More information on Donated s and Financial Aid can be found at: SDE s AY2017/18 Name of Department Description This is a one-off award of up to S$7500 each to support students to gain overseas internship experience in reputable leading design firms. Students are required to personally initiate the process in applying for a short stint in internationally renowned firms. The above scholarship is offered subject to the acceptance of the internship application. Milton Tan - Overseas Internship Architecture Maximum of THREE (3) scholarships will be awarded each year to students under the following categories for two months during the period from May to July: Up to 2 BA (Architecture) students who are in their 3rd or 4th year of study Up to 1 BA (Industrial Design student) who is in his/her 3rd or 4th year of study. The scholarship will cover the following expenses: Return Air ticket (most economical and direct route) - max. S$2,000.00

2 Overseas subsistence allowance S$90.00/day for Zone 1 (USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and Japan) and S$70.00/day for Zone 2 (countries beside zone 1) up to max 2 months duration. This is a one-off scholarship valued at $4500 and is set up to support research in the area of urban and architectural heritage in Southeast Asia. The Department will provide another $2000 per academic year for publication and exhibition of the projects. Recipients are required to put up an exhibition of their research/studies at the Tun Tan Cheng Lock Centre upon the completion of their projects. Tun Tan Cheng Lock Architecture Up to FOUR (4) scholarships will be awarded to students under the following categories each year: 1. Up to two undergraduate students in third/fourth year of study in the Department and or 2. One graduate student in the Department and/or 3. Up to two undergraduate or graduate students in accredited architectural programmes in other universities, preferably in Southeast Asia. The basis of award corresponds to the 3 categories of students: 1. The scholarship supports the undergraduates on projects that require travelling within Southeast Asia. 2. Research project related or connected to design thesis, dissertation or similar academic exercises. The study should preferably focus on urban and architecture heritage. 3. The area of study should be related to disciplines of the built environment, such as environmental design, landscape architecture, urban and architectural heritage & management, urban studies or urban planning.

3 Woh Hup The scholarship is awarded to ONE (1) 3rd year student in the BSc (Project and Facilities Management) programme. It is tenable for two years, subject to the student s progress. The same student shall continue to receive the award in his/her 4th year of study. Applicants should attain at least a CAP of 3.5, have a strong record of CCA involvement and demonstrate a commitment to community service. Kong Mun Kwong The scholarship is awarded annually to a student who has completed at least 20 MCs and not more than 80 MCs in the BSc (Project and Facilities Management) programme. It is tenable for two years, subject to the student s progress. Applicants should attain at least a CAP of 4.0, have a strong record of CCA involvement and demonstrate a commitment to community service. NUS Real Estate The scholarship will be given out over a 4-year period in tandem with the BSc () programme, at $10,000 per year. It covers tuition fees (the prevailing subsidized tuition fee) and any balance funds will cover living expenses. A maximum of TWO (2) scholarships will be awarded every academic year and no bond is required. Melvin Poh and Francine Lee Real Estate ONE (1) scholarship will be awarded in each academic year subject to sufficiency of funds and/or available income and the University s prevailing spending policies. The University will be responsible for, and have the sole discretion in, the selection of candidates and the administration of the.

4 This covers tuition fees (the prevailing subsidized tuition fee) and any balance funds will cover living expenses. It is tenable for four years for the BSc (Real Estate) programme. Perennial Real Estate The scholarship will be given out over a 5-year period in tandem with the BSc () programme, at $10,000 per academic year for Year 1 students. The scholarship will cover tuition fees (the prevailing subsidized tuition fee for Singapore Citizens) and allowances. SDE Bursaries AY2017/18 Name of Bursary Department Description FIVE (5) bursaries, each valued at $2, per student per annum, will be awarded to deserving students. Applications are to be renewed on an annual basis. K H Tan Bursary Dean's Office Applicants must show proof that they require financial assistance based on indicators such as their monthly family PCI (Per Capita Income). The acceptable PCI level indicating need is to be based on the prevailing University s Guidelines for bursaries. When the financial circumstances of the candidates are comparable, their records of extra-curricular activities shall be considered. Information on co-curricular participation and family financial circumstances must be submitted at the time of application. BEMA Bursary Dean's Office FOUR (4) bursaries will be awarded, up to 2 awards for the Department of (DOB) and up to 2 awards for the Department of (DRE) in each academic year, starting from AY2013/14.

5 Each Bursary is valued at S$5, per student per annum. The Bursary is meant for emergency situations, to deserving students who require financial assistance due to unexpected financial change in the family. The Bursary is tenable for one year for the academic year in which it is awarded. Lee Kip Lin Bursary Architecture TWO (2) bursaries, each valued at $7,500 will be awarded in each academic year. Tan Chew Char Bursary TWO (2) bursaries will be awarded to full-time Singaporean undergraduates undertaking the Bachelor of Science (Project and Facilities Management) programme in each academic year, starting from AY2013/14. Each Bursary is valued at S$ per student per annum and tenable for one year for the academic year in which it is awarded. The number of bursaries and quantum of each Bursary will be subjected to the sufficiency of funds and minimum bursary quantum determined by the University. HK Hauw Bursary FIVE (5) bursaries will be awarded to full-time Singaporean undergraduates undertaking the Bachelor of Science (Project and Facilities Management) programme in each academic year, starting from AY2014/15. Each Bursary is valued at S$ per student per annum and tenable for one year for the academic year in which it is awarded. The quantum of each Bursary will be subjected to the minimum bursary quantum determined by the University. Lighthouse Club (Singapore) Bursary SIX (6) bursaries were to be awarded each year to students studying for Bachelor of Science (Project and Facilities Management) at the Department of. Each Bursary is tenable for the duration of the studies and valued at $2,000. The donation drive was organized in the form of

6 DRE Endowed Bursary and Estate Management Alumni (BEMA) Fund Raising Golf Tournament held in August This bursary is intended for needy undergraduate students from the Department of. Two sub-named bursaries have been setup, namely DRE-Ascendas Bursary and DRE- Lim Siew Bee Bursary. Up to SIX (6) Bursaries valued at up to S$3000 each will be awarded per academic year (at steady state, based on targeted endowment of $250,000 and its matching grant). It is tenable only for the academic year in which it is awarded. The bursary is open for application from 1 February to 1 April for award in the following academic year starting in August. Raffles Quay Asset Management Study Grant ONE (1) bursary will be awarded to full-time Singaporean undergraduate undertaking the Bachelor of Science () programme in Year 2 and above in each academic year, starting from AY2014/2015. The bursary is intended to support financially needy students who are middle achievers in the Department of. Each Bursary is tenable for one year for the academic year in which it is awarded.
