2 Caregiver 2 Restorative Care Aide Charge Nurse, RN Home Care Caregiver/ Private Duty (CNA or GNA Lic. Is acceptable) This position provides services for our residents on the Lifeline calls. Caregivers will go to the resident s home or location to assist them on our 30 acre campus. Caregivers will also assist residents in the activities of daily living in our 33 bed Assisted Building. Requires: state license w. G.N.A., strong interpersonal & communication skills, critical thinking and ability to lift 50 pounds. Informs referring therapist of all changes in resident abilities & requests clarification of assigned restorative care program as needed. Records all treatments on restorative care flow sheets, provides PROM and AROM as directed & according to policy. Correctly applies all equipment and treatments as directed by therapist. Must maintain good communication and working relationships with nursing and with the rehab department. Must have active GNA license in state of MD. Must have excellent customer service skills, have patience in addition to a caring and gentle presence attitude with residents, staff and families. Provides direct nursing care to the residents. Assists w/ the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the Certified Medicine Aides and Nursing Assistants. Interacts with families, physicians and rehabilitation staff on a day-to-day basis. MUST have RN license in the state of MD. & minimum yr. exp. Long Term Care exp. is preferred. Experience working with geriatric population is preferred. Administrative offices, maintenance rooms, boiler rooms, and public areas on campus. Pulls out and disposes of all carpeting, wall covering, cabinets, and curtain rods during renovations. Removes and replaces ceiling tiles, dry wall, light fixtures, switch plates, and receptacle covers. Works with various paints, thinners, brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other miscellaneous tools commonly used by painters as well as all necessary tools and equipment required to perform the jobs assigned. Must have 3 years of painting experience. Must have active driver s license. Provides directions, maps, information and other assistance to visitors, vendors and associates. Checks all doors in the mornings and in the evenings. Examines the perimeter of the campus on a regular basis. Serves as central communication in all emergencies. Responds to life line alerts. Must have experience in the security field. Performs day to day housekeeping functions as assigned, as well as specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
