11 HEMOLOGIC Bert van Dalen General Manager Charles Hollenkamp Manager Director OUR KEY FIGURES 2% Of Adult population in world suffers from Heartfailure (HF) CLINICAL TRIALS Are promising, and in full progress patient diagnoses in 5 years after commercial release. OUR COORDINATES Hemologic B.V. is an R&D company in the TSC Group and has developed a patented method to measure hemodynamics in an easy, cost effective and patient friendly way. The Hemologic Cardiac Profiler (HCP) will be a wearable device and offers a non-invasive, real time, wireless, remote and continuous measurement of the pump function of the heart. OUR COMPANY PROFILE The Hemologic Cardiac Profiler (HCP) uses a patented technology called Atrial and Ventricular Field Recognition. The electrical fingerprint pattern during emptying and filling of the hearts chambers is made visible when a harmless, weak electric current is applied over the chest skin and voltage potentials are measured by multiple electrodes close to the heart. Measuring these signals, an algorithm can visualize the emptying and filling volumes through a single heartbeat, displayed as a Volume Time Curve (VTC). Changes in the shape of the curve are caused by heart diseases that may lead to failing pump function or heartfailure. HCP additionally expresses this in parameters that cardiologists are familiar with from other hemodynamic diagnostics. Hemologic is mainly working with third parties to achieve its milestones. The University Medical Center of Utrecht serves as the primary research- and clinical evaluation partner.
