8 Aims Build a network for Nurses and Allied Professions working in the the field of interventional cardiology in Europe Support the development of training and education program for Nurses and Allied Professions working in the the field of interventional cardiology in Europe (ESCel) Construct a foundation for sharing of knowledge and development of translational research among Nurses and Allied Professions throughout Europe

9 Strategic goals Extend number of members Target= 300 Active homepage and LinkedIn group 2014 Appoint task forces in the Nurses and Allied Professions committee responsible for networking, education and certification development and research Start development of educational web-based platform within the EAPCI community (ESCel) Start process of Nurses and Allied Professions certification in the meaning of training standard

11 Action plan: Education and training Objective: Start and develop a framework of guidelines for education and training Proposal to provide courses / basic practical training and How to sessions or Hands-On workshops at europcr Target : 1 course to be implemented at europcr 2015 Performing a survey to map out education level, experience and needs to be met primarly by Nurses and Allied professions sessions during europcr.

12 Action plan: Network Objective: Create the network and disseminate information Committee members representatives from all over Europe A permanent column for the committee in EuroIntervention A homepage and a LinkedIn group, restricted to EAPCI members Presentation europcr 2015: How to use social media in knowledge sharing (LinkedIn, Escel, websites, internet) Increase EAPCI membership among Nurses and Technicians by having a computer in the N/T corner at europcr 2015 for registration and guidance in how to

13 Action plan: Research and Development Objective: Start and develop a foundation of translational and multidisciplinary research Identify stakeholders in key centers across Europe and start networking Identify a potential novel study proposal Perform a multicenter trial and publish Annual science sessions at europcr with updates and late breaking trials.

14 Action plan: europcr 2015 Objective: Creating a program by clinicians for clinicians Constitute a europcr program committee chairperson with responsibility to coordinate the work of the program committee (Lene Klovgaard) Develop a matrix for abstract review Develop a program with diversity and a mixture between interactive sessions (Learning, Live-in-a-box) and lectures Annual evaluation of last year program
