1 Tools Patient Engagement System To assist customers with staying at the forefront of obesity treatment, Robard Corporation s website, is the leading online destination to help healthcare professionals navigate through the transformative changes in healthcare as it pertains to treating overweight and obese patients. Robard Corporation s extensive and proprietary MyCare Tools is a further extension of that goal. Available exclusively to Robard customers, MyCare Tools is an online customizable patient engagement system and companion app which allows for meaningful, online patient interactions between interventions to help solidify engagement, compliance and success. Ultimately, a patient s overall satisfaction with a weight loss program strengthens retention, referrals and revenue. 2 Technology is Fueling Patient Compliance, Engagement & Healthcare Reform 80% of Americans who have access to the information in their electronic health records use it; a full two-thirds of those who don t yet have electronic access say they want it. 1 A recent survey by the California HealthCare Foundation found that patients pay more attention and become more engaged in their health and medical care when they have easy access to their health information online; this is especially true for patients with lower incomes. 2 In addition, patient engagement is a goal of major health care reform initiatives including Meaningful Use, Patient-Centered Medical Homes (PCMH), and Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). In 2014, Meaningful Use Stage 2 requires providers to enable patients to view online, download and transmit their health information. Providers must also use secure electronic messaging to communicate with patients. Failure to meet these measures will result in penalties; practices that achieve the threshold for these measures will be eligible for incentives. 3 Finally, according to the Pew Research Center, 60% of U.S. adults say they track their weight, diet, or exercise routine. 35% of U.S. adults say that at one time or another they have gone online specifically to try to figure out what medical condition they or someone else might have. Seven in 10 U.S. adults have tracked a health indicator for themselves or for someone else. Of those, 34% share their health tracking records or notes with another person or group. MyCare Tools: Linking Technology and Treatment MyCare Tools is a customizable patient engagement system that provides customers with a patient-facing, customizable microsite featuring their center (with their own URL and branding) to conveniently manage and interact with their patients with an intuitive platform with advanced functionality. Providers may also create a detailed About Us section, add contact information and directions (including detailed and interactive map), list hours of operations, and provide answers to frequently asked questions.

3 Manage Your Patients, Your Way Once MyCare Tools providers are in the system, they can track their patients progress, schedule appointments, send messages, share motivational tips, and much more. Providers are able to create individual patient records with all pertinent details, assign a weight loss meal plan, set goals, suggest and transmit patient education modules, and more all with their very own personal HIPAA compliant website, securely hosted by Robard Corporation. Meanwhile, an in-built alert system keeps providers up-to-date with real-time patient activity for improved reaction to achievements, obstacles, or inactivity. Intuitive Tools for Increased Patient Interaction. Patient Meal Plan Assign individual meal plans to patients based on their individual goals and needs. Choose from Robard s meal plans or create your own custom meal plans. Education Modules Leverage Robard s extensive library of nutrition, exercise, behavior and diabetes patient education modules. Motivational Tips and Quotes Search and send hundreds of motivational quotes and tips. Tracking A graphical, interactive depiction of each patient s progress takes shape as the system is fed weight, food consumption and exercise data. Messages Send and receive secure messages to individual patients through the system to their , phone or portal.* Appointments Patient appointments can be made using an easy to use calendar. Appointments will appear on both the provider and patient portals. The Patient Portal MyCare Tools allows each of Robard s customer s patients to have their own personalized online portal and app where they track their own weight loss progress, including weight, BMI, exercise/activity and food intake, while continuing to modify their behavior and make lifestyle changes with suggested education modules. The Patient side of MyCare Tools is built on the foundation of the individual patient s plan, eating preferences, dietary restrictions, weight loss goals, exercise abilities, and more meaning, the more the provider and patient contribute to the MyCare Tools experience, the more the system s intuitive nature takes over, building data and personalization to better serve the individual patient. No MyCare Tools journey is the same for everyone. MyCare Tools also allows patients to complete part of their own intake form and their behavioral assessment before their first appointment.

4 Patient Portal Features The Patient Dashboard Message Center Each patient has a dashboard that provides current data and allows for logging additional information and activities including weight, meals, exercise, water intake, and more, all compared to their daily goals. The patient can also access their meal plans and suggested education modules, complete the activities, and save them back to the system for the provider to view. This enables the provider to view the patient s progress between interventions and intervene in a timely manner with a patient when needed. Further features include: A Nutrition Log/Meal Planner that allows the patient to view their daily meal plans, easily log foods they eat at each eating occasion, including all of Robard products, and compare the daily nutrition consumed against the set meal plan assigned. Exercise/Activities Log that provides patients the ability to log their daily exercise and calculates the calorie expenditure. Upcoming Appointments Patients can access any secure messages sent from the provider in the message section. Once read, the provider will receive notification on their dashboard that the message has been read. MyProgress Patients are able to review and monitor their progress over a specified time period. Easy to view graphs display the information with a hovering tool that provides details relating to the patients entry. The patient s upcoming appointments are displayed in the Appointment section. Patients also have the ability to sync the appointment in their calendar or cancel their appointment which will alert the provider.

5 HIPAA/HITECH Compliance MyCare Tools meets new standards for HIPAA compliance, including secure messaging between patients and providers in order to meet Meaningful Use Stage 2 criteria. Meaningful Use Stage 2 focuses on measuring patient engagement and empowerment, which means that patients not only need to access their health information, but also view it, download it, or transmit it that is, patients need to actively engage with their health records.
