Objective of Adopting an Electronic Suite of Products EMR Beginning in 2015, lack of EMR compliance means penalties for providers in the form of reduced reimbursements. Reduction in Medicare Reimbursements Structure Year 1: 1% Penalty Year 2: 2% Penalty Year 3 & Beyond: 3% Penalty per year Implementation of an EMR is another step forward as a participant in PCMH, PCMH-N, CIN, OSC or ACO. is a funded by OPNS, made available to the practice free of charge. Currently, the registry is claims fed by BCBSM, BCBSM MA, BCN, Priority Health, and Health Plus. An OPNS Subsidized EMR to Interface provides a complete patient panel based on those patients the office enters into the EMR on a daily basis along with their supplemental data. The purpose of a registry is to manage your population. All medical documentation occurs within the EMR. simply computes which patients are associated with certain chronic conditions and additionally identifies those who are due for particular services. A registry is an essential component for adding additional capabilities as either a PCMH or a PCMH-N Practice and also is one of the pillars of participating in a CIN, OSC or ACO. OPNS is currently in testing phases for sending patient data from the EMR that feeds into, on to the Health Plans. Once this is in place, offices will have only the EMR for entry as opposed to signing into each Health Plan site for documentation. OPNS monthly Unmet Measures are posted on. Daily ADT reports are also posted on. Health Information Exchange Health Connect is the largest Health Information Exchange in the state. GLHC provides the capability to send electronic referrals. GLHC also provides the interface structure of receiving ADT and Lab results from various hospitals either into an EMR or the, which adds another opportunity to gather patient information within the accompanying the claims feed and EMR Supplemental Data interface. Being aware of patient ER Discharge ASAP is essential for patient care and physician quality. Also, the capability to capture structured data such as lab results is essential in future interfaces to health plans.

Preferred Suite of Products Specifications Practice Fusion is a free web-based EMR with a free e-prescribing system integrated into the EMR. Practice Fusion has been certified for Stage 2 of Meaningful Use, which means that it meets the most recent requirement standards for an EMR. If a practice is already using a practice management system, Practice Fusion will provide a transfer of demographics into the EMR for Free. The demographic transfer allows for an easier transfer and transition period when implementing a new EMR. OPNS members receive preferred pricing through Advanced MD billing, which integrates what is entered into Practice Fusion to the super-bill located within Advanced MD. Interfaced into : OPNS has built an interface between Practice Fusion and the. With implementation of Practice Fusion, the registry will be continuously fed a complete patient panel based upon those patients the office enters into the EMR on a daily basis along with their supplemental data. At point of care, physician and office staff will be able to identify which test the patient is over due for. Additionally, the office can begin to manage the population by identifying groups of patients. Whether it be diabetics or women s health, the office will be able to identify specific portions of their population who are at risk patients in need of services. OPNS Unmet Measures are now posted to the Report tab within. Daily ADT reports from SJMHO are also posted to the Report tab. Fed from Health Connect not only provides a free electronic referral platform, it also provides a mechanism for Admit, Discharge, and Transfer information as well as Lab Results into either Practice Fusion or. The tool eliminates the need to fax results by providing a HIPAA Compliant physician to physician document attachment mechanism within the referral that can also be placed within the patient chart of Practice Fusion.

EMR/e-RX Health Connect OPNS Middle Range Suite of Products Charting, Scheduling,, E-Rx, Labs, Documents, Meaningful Use Stage 2 Certified Population Management tool integrating Claims, EMR Interface, ADT & Lab Results for point of care, OPNS Unmet Measures Health Connect Health Information Exchange offering Electronic Referrals, State Delivery Interfacing, Direct

Middle Range Specifications : A web-based EMR embedded with e-prescribing and billing. The use of the EMR is free. When including the billing platform, manages all of the practice unit billing. can increase overall revenue by making sure that more of the claims billed are accounted for. From there, charges a fee of the percentage of revenue specific to each practice s billing cycle. has been certified for Stage 2 Meaningful Use, which means that it meets the most recent requirement standards for an EMR. Interfaced into : OPNS is currently beta-testing for an interface between and the. With implementation of, the registry will be continuously fed a complete patient panel based upon those patients the office enters into the EMR on a daily basis along with their supplemental data. Fed from Health Connect: Very similar to the Basic option. GLHC at a referral level is free of charge. It also represents the bridge between gaps from office to office preventing sufficient communication. Transfer of ADT and Labs are already occurring within.

EMR/e-RX Health Connect OPNS High End Suite of Products Robust EMR Capabilities with embedded E-Rx. ICD-10 and Meaningful Use Stage 2 Ready Population Management tool integrating Claims, EMR Interface, ADT & Lab Results for point of care, OPNS Unmet Measures Health Connect Health Information Exchange offering Electronic Referrals, State Delivery Interfacing, Direct

High End Recommendation Specifications : At the responsibility of the Practice, can be purchased as a high cost EMR option. Cost depends on Contract between the Practice &. is recognized as a viable, yet high cost solution for an EMR. has certified for Meaningful Use Stage Two, which means that it meets the most recent requirement standards for an EMR. Interfaced Into : With implementation of, OPNS would encourage an interface into. As stated earlier, with OPNS in testing phases to deliver patient information directly to health plans. An interface from an EMR to that sends a feed out to each health plan eliminates the need for office staff to enter information in more than one location. Physician office may be responsible for interface maintenance fees. OPNS Unmet Measures are now posted to the Report tab within. Daily ADT reports from SJMHO are also posted to the Report tab. Fed from Health Connect: The same benefits as Basic and Mid Range Options are associated here. Implementation of GLHC helps play a roll in allowing the varying electronic systems from each office to communicate in an easier manner.
