2 Contact information: RESUME CHECKLIST Did you put your name at the top? Is it in a larger font and bolded? Did you use a current address where you can be reached? Did you include a phone number where a message can be left or someone will generally be available to answer the phone? Did you include an appropriate/professional address? Summary OR Objective: OR Summary Did you include profile of skills, qualifications, summary of areas of expertise? Objective Did you write a brief statement indicating the position to which you are applying? Education: Did you name your college/university? Did you list the city and state of your college/university? Did you list your degree? Including major? Have you included the month and/or year of completion of your degree? Do you have GPA information? (3.0 or above) Have you included related courses? Did you also include general electives? Were you involved in any on campus activities or hold leadership positions on campus? Experience: Did you list your position title? Followed by employer, city and state, and dates of experience? Did you use bullets to make important points? Provide at least 3-5 for each position. Did you begin each phrase with a powerful action verb describing your accomplishments?
