What kind of program is this? Please provide a brief description of the program. This program is intended to encourage other NRHH chapters to incorporate programming into their chapters. A PowerPoint presentation highlights examples of programs that worked for the Griffon Gold Chapter of NRHH at MWSU and describes how all responsibilities were divided amongst all members. The presentation will be followed by a roundtable discussion and program brainstorming session. 3. Who was the program for? Name your target audience. This program is targeted towards NRHH representatives and members who wish to encourage their chapters to become more active. 4. How much did the program cost? Who funded it? Please provide a brief budget breakdown. The program didn t cost anything, however programs presented in the program had their own individual costs and were funded through the $1000 budget allocated to the NRHH chapter by RHA. 5. How many people were involved in planning the program AND how long did it take to plan? The idea to begin programming in our NRHH chapter was an idea from our Executive Board, but wouldn t have been possible without the dedication and participation of all NRHH members. Ideas presented in this program were cultivated throughout one academic year. 6. Why was the program started on your campus? How does it benefit the university and/or community population? Establishing NRHH as a programming entity at MWSU began to increase knowledge of NRHH across campus, particularly in the residence halls. This resulted a much more successful membership drive. It benefited the university because in increased awareness of NRHH; OTMs alone were not enough to get the word out. It also increased excitement and

2 involvement within the NRHH general membership. 7. What were some pros/cons of the program? How could the program be improved? Molding NRHH into a programming body achieved the desired effect. It increased the presence of the NRHH chapter across campus. The program could be improved by holding committees more accountable for meetings and plans. 8. How could this program be adapted for other universities? Universities with larger memberships would have more success because responsibilities could be evenly and reasonably distributed. However, smaller chapters could incorporate some ideas by forming just one or two committees, co-sponsorship with RHA or other organizations, or planning just one or two larger events a year. 9.
